here's one of my fav's i've used since bf2 in heavy armor situations. now of course you need a SQUAD of squad MEMBERS not lone wolves for this to work, but is VERY effective. have most, if not all the squad spawn as engineer. take cover & everyone fire at once. any armor taking that many shots at once goes down instantly. it's a simple, yet effective tactic. try it some time. while only 1 person, gets the kill, the TEAM gets less deaths by walker/tank/apc.:thumbsup:

I recall one match on Songhua where we had control of pretty much all the vehicles (and if you remember Songhua, you'll remember it has a TON of APCs). We'd beaten the enemy back to their last flag and were starting to move in with our APC convoy, when the enemy all of a sudden found some coordination and I **** you not it seemed like all 16 people on the enemy team spawned AT. Nothing but a wall of AT missiles coming at us. Our APC column was smoking rubble before you could say 'WTF?!' We still won the round, but we sure as hell didn't cap them out. :salute:

Was once banned from a server by a hacking admin who thought I was hacking (even though I denied it multiple times). I KNOW he was, because PB has a file on him. Also, everyone else was like "Someone get this moron" so I did.

I can't count the number of times the enemy has thrown itself at me piecewise and then called me a whore because I was in a battlewalker and they were not. I've had 6-man squads with zero coordination all firing at me from the same spot, while I just strafed around their location and picked them off one by one as they launched an extremely bright pilum from a pitch-black terrain. Some of them resort to dropship-ramming me, which is fair game on most servers I play, but it still makes you think "Damn, they couldn't find a better way, huh?"

You wanna take down a whore? Make him panic. Overwhelm him. Cut off his chances of retreating. Surround him, hit him with multiple whammies to get him killed before he even realizes what had been going on. Point a railgun at him, make his vehicle sound alarms everywhere. Trust me on this, if a vehicle pilot hears the lock-on alarm, you'll see him look for its source immediately. He'll check the usual suspects: railguns. Meanwhile, you can come in from the opposite direction and land a good clean shot on him. In truth, it's not all that hard if you teamwork it up. A good squad can seriously put a dent in even the best driver and make him think twice about approaching that location.

Make sense what you say, besides a good commander can bring a Walker down on it's knees fairly quickly.

Heck I've even played on Skunk2142's Vancouver Island server without pissing him off.

Our whole clan was perma-banned from nfb for a while but that's just because because they ban everyone that kicks their asses, which is basically everyone. Now we usually play on dam or trr, where we don't have that problem.

Some people need to just shut up and play.

hey buddha, good to see you. =NfB= admins don't ban for simply beating them, but they do enforce their server rules. if you violate them, you will be kicked/banned. have you tried politely appealing the ban? do you know what the ban was actually for? Skates and company run a tight ship, but in my experience w/ them, never ban because they're getting beat.

Oh we got banned for swearing, teabagging, excessive teamkilling, name violations.. ie 'teabagster' and 'deucedropper' and base raping. I never apologized because I'm not a very polite person. But you know we're just having a bit of fun.

Anyone that wants to can come to our forums and read the ban appeals. Most of the time, as long as someone isn't a smacktard they will get their ban removed the first time, and sometimes even the second and third.

Going off the GUID history of "teabagger" and "duecedropper" this thread should clear up what happened. You guys apparently aren't only "not very polite," but are also immature and vulgar and create squad names that reflect that, which is what got you banned.

Banned for being called 'deucedropper'. FFS is the NFB server run by a team of anal sunday school teachers. The more I hear about that server the more I'm glad I never play on it.

That wasn't the name of the squad, that was the player that had created it. It was an extremely vulgar name and they were asked multiple times to change it but they wouldn't, so we got rid of them. But it's okay Jac, I wouldn't expect you to understand.
