    Bah, you're all soft.

I'll only bail if I'm fire, it's just retarded to stay in the jet or chopper that's alight. If not, I'll test my skill in avoiding their missiles. As far I'm concerned if they were good enough to get me in that position, they deserve the kill.

What annoys me is that on POE2 I was in a frog foot and another guy on my team was also flying.

The number of times I wasted this other dudes tornado only for him to bail, then the one ocasion he gets a lock on the pilot on my team and the pilot bails the tornado pilot goes into a hissy fit and starts to flame him for bailing.

      stupid smack-tard double standards.

I like the challenge of getting away from the J-10, so I will hang in their until the last possible second, and bail, the trick is, to put C4 on your Jet, when you bail, and pull your chute, wait for them to fly past your jet, and detonate. Does not work every time, but the times that it does, is classic...

I prefer being a medic while flying so that I can go out of bounds and have a much higher chance of surviving.

When I used to play BF2 I would get a little wound up by it, purely because after all that effort you don't receive any points reward for chasing the guy down. Now I look back at it, I find it acceptable, you got to do anything to survive ammirite?

ya i dont have a problem with it. only time it really makes me angry is when a noob is in a j10 and bails..i mean u really should NEVER have to bail outta that. only time i have is if AA or a jet gets me to 3 bars or whatever and its gonna kill me,,u can outrun everything in j10 no real reason to bail in j10 if u know what ur doing and a jet is on u.

                  Re: bailers

In the 21CW tournament I don't bail for the simple fact that I know that I am assigned that specific piece of aircraft, and if I am not at its spawn when it spawns back, there will be trouble.

However in pubs I love bailing. I do it all the time and can honestly say that I have had some good success. If my jet is low on health, ill bail on an enemy flag and try to cap it.

And the original poster is correct, the in-game messages are hilarious.

Bailing would be more epic if you could only spawn once, which is your initial spawn (like Americas Army). Imagine a game mode in BF2 like that...

                      Re: bailers

I've always been a staunch supporter of bailing as a means to survive.

I can't count the number of kills I've been denied because the other pilot got out of the cockpit and I don't fuss over it for a second; he knows I won the dogfight, I know I won the dogfight. I don't need the points to justify that fact.

The point of the game is to take away tickets from the enemy. If I die, they take away one of our tickets... so yeah, I'll bail out if it becomes necessary.

Besides, this is war. I won't invent these little rules and create stupid boundaries that prevent me from being more efficient and taking away from the enemy just because people expect me to behave a certain way.

If it wasn't for all the bans that result from doing it, I would baserape and padrape the f*ck out of everyone, because it's the most efficient means of ensuring a swift victory. It's war, leave your civility out of it, knawmean?

                          Re: bailers

Its a real life/world tactic and its legal to do. It can be anoyying to not get the kill (still a n00b pilot) but I have no problem with my opponant wanting to survive.

I just have to remember to request a Pilot kit in OPK mod otherwise I just make a big impact as only pilots have parachutes.

A war-based video game. I agree with your first point though.

bailers are fine, but it means you cannot gloat about your 10:1 kdr ina plane. If you do it means your in desperate need of an ego boost XD
