It seems more like an unhealthy obsession than a mere hobby, the guy must have issues if he's willing to spend that amount of money on a single game.

I believe its an obsession...i think 5 accounts would be a hobby. why not go and buy a car or pay off some debt with that cash? i mean, 5k a year adds up ALOT. and he probably doesnt even give a flying F about what we say. or even knows we exist.

A hobbie is scrap booking.
An obsession is scrap booking any picture of Bjork you can find.

A hobby is playing a video game here and there.
An obsession is owning and running 11 computers simultaneously while playing 36 seperate WoW accounts.

:laugh: The guy has serious problems. Sure he may be having "fun" but so do pyromaniacs when they set alight to someones home. In short, you can't rule it as normal just because he enjoys it.

I think its a pretty sad way to spend your life. Hes probably never seen sunlight. Wow is a pretty ****e game and most people that play it have no real life friends. I bet he gets off on his characters to.

I think WoW is a GREAT game if used in moderation...kinda like alcohol...Its great if you use it moderatly but you get hooked and your F'ed
