Tank Busting movie

I spent the weekend breaking tanks and recording it and made this video in the process.

It was a lot of fun. Had some problems and lost a lot of good footage, but I am pleased with the outcome. I blew up a TON of tanks.

It was kinda hard finding servers that had them and populated at the same time.

I fell in love with the music and made the video fit it instead of the other way around.

Hope this is informative to some of you all. I added some things in it to show how to use cover, when to attack. Even added a long "stalking" scene.

Boy, the editing would be tough. I think I could do it, but I need a song that would match that some. Maybe something silly.

Beautiful stuff. Grigorji, Burkman, and SnowWhite must really hate you after that.

They were better sports than some of the other servers I was on One person actually told me to stop using C4 or be banned. Another started saying I was hacking because there is no way for one person to kill a tank by themselves.

I would have had a lot more awesome explosions if I didnt lose my first recordings. Fraps recorded strange. I recorded sound and it didnt match up and caused stuttering in the recordings. I couldnt use the footage at all. So I dumped it all and started over without sound and it came out good.

Also, I ranked in the top 5 on all those servers just by focusing on killing tanks. Its amazing how many people get between you and the tanks

Roundhouse was the hardest to get footage because there were only two tanks and it takes a while to respawn.

Crunchy, I gotta thank you again for this vid. I was having great success with this the last few times playing CTF on Roundhouse, using the Fireworks and Reconnaissance perks. Particularly, just hiding safely behind a barrier, lobbing 2 satchels over it, then blowing the tank to smithereens.

Amazing how quickly the tank whoring stopped when I began doing that. And all the "lol's" and "yay's" from my team-mates.

Anyone who hasn't tried this yet, I recommend watching the vid, make a tank-busting class, and trying it out. Tons of fun nuking those guys who think they're safe inside all of that steel. :laugh: :thumbsup:

Thanks Whiskey, Im glad I have been of help. It does shock the tank whores quite a bit when you destroy a perfectly good tank by yourself.

It does make me sad though when no one will get in tanks, so I tend to get in them and start doing damage until they feel brave enough to try it again.

Im trying to figure out the bazooka now. That thing has to be able to destroy tanks just as well as satchels.

Yeah, it was great seeing everything in use by others. When we were on Seelow a guy actually asked if he should go with the anti-tank kit for this round!

The word is spreading Had a great time playing even if I couldnt be in a tank very long.
