Spetznaz, MECSF, Insurgents, and Rebels all get AK-101 as stock rifles.

Actually Alex was right - MEC Spec-Ops have AK-74U.

Both of us are right. Spetsnaz, MECSF, Rebels, and Insurgents get the AK-74U as their stock carbines for spec-ops, but for assault and medic they have the AK-101

The AK101 for MEC is kinda expected as it was made for an export item, but they should have given spetz AN94 abakans (some russian special forces use them) and AK74's. Afaik, no russian military unit uses the AK47 or AKM scince the late 70s

Hmm i dont think any guns really have performance advantages if they are still the default guns (not upgraded). I think its mainly skins.
