CoD:WaW not working on Windows 7

Some people seem to have it working fine, but i can't.

I go to join a server, select team and i can run around for about 5 seconds before the screen goes black and the sound starts looping. I then have to ctrl + alt + delete out and end process.

Anyone else run into this issue or can describe why it might happen?

What drivers are you using? Hardware, etc.

I had tried both 8.12 with hotfix and the new Beta drivers for Win7, but nothing. I even did a full reinstall.

Doesn't matter now, went back to Vista as i have to have CoD :rawr

When I tried playing at first I got a bunch of weird stuff with the world. All the polygons were going crazy. I just tried playing again and it works fine so I think the drivers are just iffy right now.

How's the new Windows?

I love it. It's very stable but then again it is still a beta. It has it's little qwerks but it is still amazing.
