It's way accurate, for the best performance shoot in burst. If you go full auto it feels way inaccurate, even when the enemy is just laying on the floor it feels like it misses alot if you go full auto.

In case you didn't know, you can use the stabilizer with the lambert

I've always felt that, although its helpful, its most scenarios you won't have enough time to scope/use the stabilizer if you aren't sniping (which would be why you have the lambert in the first place).

Plus, the other items usually take precedence anyway, when I use recon.

Crouch and use 2-3 shot bursts. It helps a lot at medium ranges. I don't think the stabilizer is worth it. Active camo, RDX, and APMs are the only thing I consider carrying in the recon kit for almost any situation.

i unlocked that recon thing that gives a false uav signature i've been using this. anyways the only time im ever recon is either right in the beginning playing as EU in a campG match so i can explode any jeeps that come flying up the middle and then in any situation where you want to carbomb something. and we all know carbombing is win.

How is that fasle uav thing working for you?

So pretty much 2 to 3 shots is what i should be doing?

The false uav you are talking about is the sniper decoy and has a 60 meter radius (120 diameter) and that would be the range of an uav I think.
2-3 shots burst would be right. Alternativly you could try to play some rounds with single shot on the lambert and see how that goes. (it`s better than you think)
You could use the stabilizer to ease your aim when shooting at longer distances but i would never advice you to ever shoot at people far away with a carbine.

The reason carbine isn`t so good at longer distances is because of the low zoom. If you managed to get in a position to prone, then you will find the carbine very accurate.

Hope this help. If you have any questions, just ask

Sniper decoy is very useful when playing titan, especially on offense because the enemies have no idea where you are :p

But yeah, bursting is the way to go with a Lambert.

I would say the carbine works best on close to medium range. You could use camo to get closer. When playing on titan you can place the sniper decoy in the middle of the titan. This way, you will always be covered by it

uhh i think the carbine is actually bad at longer range is because it does less damage and has a shorter damage diminishing distance compared to the assault rifles

not only that but is inaccurate as hell. it can be usefull at long range but a 1v1 fight you will lose anytime.

well.. You would have to hit with 1 (or maybe 2) more bullets than the assault rifles, and the low zoom makes it harder to hit soo....

It is a combination of the lack of damage and the poor zoom then

It's basically what the carbines in BF2 should have been, instead of them actually being MORE accurate than the ARs (another improvement BF2142 made over BF2 IMO).
