you probably want to use auto for close quarters, most of the time in most areas burst will always be the most effective anyways. yeah you can try to mad single shot people to death up close and it might work sometimes but most of the time your going to kill them alot faster with burst and only use a couple more bullets doing it.

If you have backup then I just spray 20 rounds scoped since the recoil is predictable and I just pop around the corner to reload.

How can you effectively use bursts with the baur? After firing one burst you almost have to re-aim don't you?

Sort-of. It doesn't reset itself as nicely as the SCAR or so but you have to make it a habit to constantly pull down your weapon. Usually I find single shot is better than bursting, even for medium range, and just spray for short ranges.

well if you are used to the baur it should be any more difficult then the scar, jsut more dammage and less ammo, thats all. the recoil aint bad, it is controlable, i can keep it very close to the starting point with ease(got forces(uk) to say i hack) and it doesnt moves back that much so if you stop you will be close to the enemie after he takes back the weapon to the normal viewpoint(right into the groundXD).

you cannot learn it from vids... it is all about control and you only get that by using it a lot. i have seen guys try to do it, just to utterly fail. play with it, ask help, but do not think that after watching a video you will be anything better than before. just watch k2's vids if you wanna see baur action, he shoots the way it should, and you dont see anything of it, except no recoil. just what i said before, you dont learn anything from vids and especially not recoil handling. and that is what you need for the baur.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA - that's not difficult!

Forces(uk) is a tool who thinks ANYONE who is remotely good, hacks. He thinks redhammerz hacks despite knowing that he's part of the French national team and the team in France that wins the most LAN events - there's no accounting for the stupidity of that imbecile. The guy has spent 4000 hours on public servers (the other hours in the day he spends getting baked or arguing about being banned on forums) - and he still sucks with all weaponry (although no doubt he would jump at the chance to tout his knife stats, and would be most upset if you didn't get a raging big-one about his achievements). But no, no no no, the UK's highest ranking leaderboard player, he must be better than us all :)

I like him though, anytime I join a server he's on, he leaves pretty promptly. Not that I mind, he's so easy to kill it's tantamount to stat-padding :P Forces will be still playing the game when I'm playing zimmer-frame tennis in my 80's, if he's happy like that, good for him. There's getting your moneys worth of enjoyment out of a game, and there's being obsessed by it :P

hehe but he is really just keeping saying i hack a lot, even namehacksXD, but even then it was funny, i had no good name of a player who was high ranked and said i used a aimbot for hands so i used this. maybe i should have said that nhs and ddso have banned me for aimbotting with the baur and krylov(altough ddso has unbanned me now). ps if you are not banned from nhs you should be ashamed, i got banned in 5 minutes for chat spamming without even writing a single message. the rest of my clan got banned one minute later for aimbotting, and some of them are crappisch.

ps have you played in the matches vs UoR bravo?

ps have you played in the matches vs UoR bravo?

nhs banned me because I beat them in a 1v4 on their clanmod server. Took toll, then got banned. Not my fault they suck DDsO have banned me at least twice, not sure if I can use their server at the moment though.

I think I played in one UoR, but most of that I spent drinking hot chocolate and letting the other guys do the work.

Back on topic, give up on the baur, just walk around holding the sentry gun and hope it kills things for you whilst undeployed in your hands. I've got as many kills with the sentry gun that way as I do with the HOFF3000 :)

yeah its funny when people try to connect someone's position on the leadboard with thier skill level. you just cant.

I like him though, anytime I join a server he's on, he leaves pretty promptly.

that is a bad losing mentality. if you are going to play you might as well make good use of your time and try to play against the more skilled players. its hard to get alot better if your always playing with scrubbies.

There's getting your moneys worth of enjoyment out of a game, and there's being obsessed by it :P

i came home for lunch and wanted to check something with my ping and some of the same people that i was playing with around 9am were still on and playing at 8 in the evening.

hmm do you know we regular on the eu|aim servers to, and the players who regular on our server are regulars on yours to, and even with that we have more skilled players than eu|aim, i think as i get higher kd on the eu|aim server and higher spm. just join once when i am on and yourself(the playerXD) warlord,debos, and pazswekilla. but we see ya in the finals. we see then who is the better(prolly eu|aim but it will be a big fight i bet).

Shame you're not in the ESL winter cup... you'd see our "Real" team there (fought in clanmod, ofc) - it'd be a massacre :P Just this week we've trained vs triggy69+redhammerz's team (top French) and the top Spanish team. Most of the better Eu|AiM guys rarely touch public though tbh, gathers and pub-clanmod servers are favoured as public doesn't really keep your skill up.

Lol field, I've seen a few people do that too - a lot of people who just want to achieve the higher ranks play pretty solidly to do it, and if you're buddied with them and just log in to check once in a while, it's scary how much some people play for a week-long badge.

i like clanmod too lolyn, but i also like public, has a other sphere, for me it still is a game, not a match or anything. i like playing on cm, then going to a noobisch server, get banned, have fun, but if cm isnt fun(teamstack eg) then i just leave the server, whilst in pub i feel like i have to at least finish the game with the players, cannot leave my team alone. i like both normal and cm, but not to much of any of these. we have really skilled players out here in my clan but we need to get better.

also if you know warlord try to convince him to get on esl, i tried to and he is thinking of that, but not yet really convinced. i want to play the esl tournaments as they are more fun(i think). i have played some gathers too but i didnt felt attrackted, all egoist who think they are important but irl they are just nobodies. big faul mouths, prolly big fat dudes...
