Ah Bud, that's cute that you left TWL to come mingle with the common folk over here at TGN. I don't hate 2142 at all. I actually love the game. If I didn't you can be sure I wouldn't have put as much time into it as I have and I wouldn't be spending money running ranked servers.
There is just a certain breed of players that are annoying because they get online and think that they are now important somehow because of a game.

We aren't looking to feel important we simply found a way to enjoy this game in a different way. All we want to do is share the experience.
We had over 50+ viewers during this live cast and we've gotten nothing but positive feed back and questions as to when we're doing it again.
Frankly for someone who has made over 1000 posts in these forums it doesn't make sense that you wouldn't embrace something like this. Is it because you didn't think of it first? Talk about egotistic.

I just call it like I see it. There really is nothing to prove. Those that decide to give TWL a try will quickly see the maturity level of most of the players over there. Those that don't fit in will leave and those that do fit in will stick around. The teams over at TWL have nobody to blame but themselves for driving off the competition and now being left to just play with themselves.
You guys are just fishing in the wrong pond here. I doubt you will find many of the regulars on these boards that are going to jump into the kiddie pool with you at TWL. I know that you are trying to find more people to play the game there, but I believe you are fighting a losing battle. Not because the game itself is dying, the numbers of players according to game-monitor have actually gone up recently, but because the type of players that you are looking for have already gotten bored with the game and moved on. The ones that are still playing it are doing it because it is fun, not to listen to some punk kid tell them how they will never be as "leet" as them and to get into little pissing matches about whose ego is the biggest.
Anyway, good luck to you in your quest. Hopefully your new persona Abs0lute_Zero and your new clan forge a better trail through the BF2142 world than your old one of =<ZzZ>= Nightmare_90. Although given the maturity level of some of the members of your new group, including a cast off from us who is using you as his flavor of the month, I don't have really high hopes for you.
No one considers playing Clue, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, Backgammon etc a sport, nor should though they consider online gaming a sport.

Hmm.. I have been a member of these forums for over two years. If you stick around a community long enough your post count tends to go up. As for thinking of it first, I really couldn't care. In case you haven't noticed, there are plenty of others here that agree and don't fell like tuning in. Some do, good for them.

Skates you aren't seriously saying my guys are immature. I remember just yesterday reading Ratpatrolkids post on your site appealing a ban because he was shooting into the uncap. Now, you don't know rat, but he is a very nice guy, polite and always having a good time. Not someone I associate with as looking for a fight. You guys on the other hand, after he posted, started getting an attitude with him, almost insulting. Seriously skates i mean it HAS to be an ego thing with you. I told truman that if he posts you WILL try to dig up stuff on him no matter how long it takes, and you did....you pulled up some error code he and JC had gotten and you said it was linked with a hack...when it was just FRAPS...i mean seriously Skates were all trying to have fun here, and you just seem to be the party pooper. And for those interested, here is the link from ratpatrol's ban appeal, along with the BR file where he claims that he wasn't shooting into hte uncap, even though he was. And then after the BR file was shown he claims that even though he was sitting in the walker killing guys in the forward spawn point on Gib, he wasn't base raping.

lol, he has 1330+ hours in the game and 613+ hours playing Gibraltar and he didn't know that shooting the walker into the uncap and killing people in the spawn point is considered base rape? He really isn't the brightest bulb in the box is he?
