edit: Hopefully you've noticed that the only forum members who have taken your side in this thread are your TWL buddies.

    Also, IBTL.
    1. it was your boy skates that came in with the "superior manner" this post just started off as advertising a fun event for people. then enters skates talking about TWL even tho this event has NOTHING to do with TWL.

    2. notice how its only you and skates from this community posting the ****?

    3. the reason skates hates TWL so much is because he proceeded to pretty much call everyone in TWL hackers, and so forth lay victim to the large amount of insults thrown towards him by the legit players that he was throwing childish hackusations to.

Hmm... Please show me where I was calling everyone in TWL hacks. There were a couple that I remember who have since been banned from TWL. But for the most part, nope, I haven't called them hacks, just immature. And again, I don't hate TWL, I just like to make people aware of what they are getting into. I had a good friend who when we were joining TWL told me "Just watch out, there are a lot of a**holes in the comp community," and what do you know, he was right. So I just pass that on to those looking into comps, as he did. It is the reason that so many teams have left the ladders over at TWL and now you guys are left with what you have. I mean really, take a read through the 9 page thread over there where you guys spend about one page talking about ways to get people involved and another eight that are pure crap.

Really what you guys need to do if you actually want more people to join your ladders, is listen to those OUTSIDE the TWL Community.

As for it's bearing with TWL, this is a venture started up by Radienfire in an effort to draw more interest and people into TWL. Kudos to him for setting the whole thing up. I am impressed by what he has done with it and if listening to Shoutcasts is your thing, it looks like he has put together a fine system. (And given the history between Radien and myself, I really mean that he has done a good job.)

          Understand this....
This is an advertisement for an event that we found to be very enjoyable. We only wish to share it with the community. Not once have we made an attempt to recruit people for TWL. We welcome criticism and I believe I have responded to it, in the beginning, with a very positive attitude. I don't know your history with TWL or radien nor do I care. If you have issues I think you will agree this is not the place for that crap.

With that said I will make an attempt to bring this flame fest back on track:

I agree that what we do doesn't fall into a sport category; it’s more an entertaining event. If anything it will fall between a sport and something like wrestling...

that literally blew me off my feet skates. we've had a fruitful history, but i never thought i would see you type something as kind and supporting as that about me. i truely feel loved :)
but..... the point of Radio Fire is not to bring in players to TWL, its to give the competitive side of gaming abit more jaz. hell for non competitive players radio fire probably isn't your cup of tea, its like football hell i like playing with my mates but i find watching it on TV tedious and boring. others love to play it and watch it. but anyway i'm going off topic abit with this.

the reason Radio Fire is currently broadcasting TWL 2142 matchs is because we are still setting things up, and thus we are sticking to what we know until we've worked out the kinks, we're soon going to move on to other games and leagues, but it takes time and patience. as soon as we've got everything set up right we're going full steam into all the leagues and games we can possibly stick our fingers in.

Good luck to you. You should put up a section with profiles for your Shoutcasters. I poked around your site a little and didn't see one. I would think it would help people relate a little more to those they are listening to.

Thanks and all in due time.

Our main site is still a working progress. Mainly because we have been focusing our efforts on the quality of the shoutcasts.
We have been working hard to bring these events to light with little to no financial backing.
We are proud to say that our last cast was (at least in our eyes) a hugh success, and hope to improve things with each event.

                Stay tuned folks :)

Re: RadioFire: Live Match Tonight at 10PM EST

our main site is currently "under construction", for now its just using what used to be our team forums as we're all broke

we've still got to get a domain sorted, fix the main page and order the forums better along with deciding on a decent logo.

your suggestion on making a "meet the casters" section is a rather good idea and we will get to work on that.

we're all about the community, give us suggestions and ideas and we'll see if we can set it up. :)

Guys, lay off each other. I think the original purpose of this thread has been lost. If the OP would like it reopened to amend the event description, please PM me.
