I'm still contemplating this. I'll probably do the prestige rank 1 and 2 to get those extra classes and then stop. But as Whiskey said, my decision beyond that would probably depend on custom content.

Hi all


Just want to know If I do try for Prestiges do I lose all my custom classes from 1-5, ie I want be able to use my classes I made getting to 65?

And if I don't talk to any of you before have a great X-Mas and happy New years.:salute:

YOu lose absolutely everything. You start over as if you just started the game.

Personally I just like starting from the start with the stock weapons again.

I wouldn't have minded in CoD4 because you start with the AK47 but i'm on prestige 4 in cod5, it's not exactly the same because the guns you use in cod5 are all unlocked later in the ranks. Kar98, Browning, PPSh etc.

When starting over, now that I know the maps, I have no trouble romping on the map with the default weaponry. The SVT40 is a very serviceable rifle in this game as is the stock Tommy gun. The Japanese bolt action is also quite accurate, it just has a slower action than some of the other bolts.

The default weapons are VERY usuable. I think the pistols are trash until you get the .357, but thats just my tastes

I love the SVT and Tommy gun. They both have good power behind them.
