Today after using the 98 alot, I noticed the texture is VERY bland aswell, as probably are many others (and this is even on the 360 where graphics are ~ at max). And i doubt they did the textures blander to appeal to mid range PC's, i havent seen much in this game that appeals much to anyone low-mid range in this game, when IW said it, they ment it, and i got plenty of play out of my COD4. I played a version of cod5 i got and it randomly slows down not at any specific junctions where theres a ton going, it'll just speed up. I dont need it diagnosed, because i basically know i need a better computer but still this is embarrassing for a next gen console and what we have in the way of PC's nowadays.

I'm a Mosin-Nagant kind of guy for sure.

However, I'm starting to learn towards the Arisaka now. Maybe it's the lower recoil, the change in ironsights, or just the way it looks. Whether it's more reliable than that of the Mosin-Nagant, I have yet to find out.

Im trying to play with the bolt riffle but i cant play with.. Im a guy who love action and i cant stay in a corner and snipe and the bolt action rifle is not a verry awsome gun for action in dome or something like that.... So i only use the sub class and the mg and sometime the rifflee:yay:

Im leaning more towards the Kar atm but i still think the Mosin is the most powerful and reliable bolt rifle.

I must admit though after a while the speed in which you can fire with the Kar can become a very good advantage over the other rifles.

My clannmate swears by the mosin. He gets less tags than me, but he also can't engage targets as quickly as I can with the Kar98. Honestly, it just depends on your play style, if you are extremely fast (err, twitchy) like myself, the kar is probably for you - if you are (while not camping) a bit slower/more careful, the mosin is better because of the increased damage.

lol, yep, happens in other WWII games also. :) You get used to the fact that with a bolt action, 1 shot can be 1 kill, and then you go to other guns where it's practically never that way. I take on smgs/mgers in close range with my bolt, and I win, kthx lol. I've been doing that since MoH, that's why I love this game, I have missed my bolt actions. You will notice the more you use a bolt, people with smg/mg will attack you differently if you have a bolt instead of an auto/semi-auto. If you can stay calm, you can usually move around their fire and get off more accurate shots than they can or even knife them up close heading right at them. For some reason, a lot of people will fire more randomly with auto/semi-autos just b/c they have more bullets. I'm guilty of the same lol. However, if you use another gun, but still have somewhat the mindset of a rifler, you can be VERY deadly with an auto gun. It definitely improves your accuracy for other weapons also.

I've been using the kar since unlocking it, mmm, feels good. It fits my style of play b/c I like to be right in the fringe of things with my bolt action, so I need a fast rifle. Before unlocking it though, the mosin was a beast.

thing is back int he COD2 days i used to pwn with rifles thompson and the MP44 but now i can only really get into kar/mosin play

I only played the beta so I didn't get to try them all but my favourite was the arusaka.

The K98 looks good though, it was my favourite in the other CoD games.
