i really think bolt rifles should do more damage

like i was playing on a snd softcore server and im using the 3rd bolt rifle and yes i AM killing some people but wtf all of these times ill hit a guy square in the chest and get a hit register but hes still alive? and it had killcam and im looking at what they got and nobody even had that juggernaut thing it was just retarded and then with last stand a couple of people require 3 hits with a bolt rifle to kill them. idk about you but its almost not worth it its kind of annoying shooting some guy and he keeps strafing around shooting his machinegun at you and missing. and then idk wtf deep impact is doing because sometimes with a bolt there will be some dude in a window behind a WOOD wall and hell duck or something but i know hes right behind that wall or even when i can see his head i try to shoot through the WOOD WALL and dont hurt him sometimes i wonder...

i really think bolts should kill in 1 hit its not like it would make them too good they still have minimal bullets in a magazine, fire very slowly and arent totally functional in all areas of all maps.

If you were not using stopping power or maybe he was jugging then it wouldnt kill him.

If you are using stopping power they can kill in one hit to the leg pretty much.

I do think it still needs to be increased, but I haven't gotten many 2 shots lately. However, before they do anything to the damage, they really need to focus on fixing the hit registry (having it detect a freaking hit for one, and detecting a hit on the right part of the body, like when you hit the head but don't get a headshot).

If you are using stopping power they can kill in one hit to the leg pretty much.

thats the thing i WAS using stopping power and they WERENT using jug thats what pissed me off

yeah a few times i would hit an enemy and they were behind a box or drum or something and the only thing that was really showing was thier head and then it does like chest shot damage and they are still alive. maybe it was the server i was playing on im not sure but it was pretty annoying its like if thats the case why even use a bolt rifle?

I think the bolts are fine as they are, if you have accuracy they are the deadliest weapon in the game. I went 98-4 with it, (small portion went to dogs/artillary).

They might could use a slight boost, but they are already pretty good...remember that all guns are weaker in softcore servers compared to hardcore.

Im getting good with the bolts and love them. The Mosin Nagant is awesome and i just went 74-6 on Castle with them.

Nothing needs changing imo.

yea the hit registrations off big time, i'll aim at a guys head and it wont register as a headshot at all

Hmm, I haven't really had a prob with the bolt rifle damage. I've gotten tons of one hit kills. It's pretty much the only weapon I use as I've missed using rifles all the time from my MoH and past CoD days. It's good to have it back! I've also completed my x-ray vision challenges where I've killed people behind a wall with it.

Now, even though I've not really had any damage complaints, the registry sometimes does feel off. Headshots do not seem to register as well as they should. It doesn't need much, but maybe a little tweaking. However, I also need to setup my config for this game as I've done for other past CoDs and it always makes a big diff for hit registry.

yeah but how would you actually do that though? because i looked in the program files and it doesnt have a 'players' folder like it does with cod4
