That's a rather ... interesting rumor. Aside from someone piecing together the six months thing with the game's release date, there's absolutely no basis for this rumor.

I dunno, doesn't seem like a plausible rumor to me. Hideo didn't even really want to make this game. But ya never know, he always has something up his sleeve.
