I doubt I'll have any problems running it...

Just like to add from my own experience, if you have an old CPU it runs better online as the server is taking most of the strain, on singleplayer its much heavier on your CPU.

Indeed. I've been hosting a server locally, so i have to get all those zombies on the map and it really did lag quite a bit. But this is a game you don't play for the singleplayer, but for the multiplayer.

          Core2Duo - 3GHz
          Ram - 4GB
          8800GTS (G92) - 512MB
          WinXP

I run it on all max settings (1920x1200), havent checked to see what the FPS is, but it feels well over 100+.

I actualy run into the "stuttering" problem where the game randomly hangs for a few seconds (never had a problem with any other Source game (HL2 ep1/ep2, TF2, Portal) when also run on max settings). So I am currently using "mat_queue_mode 0" to turn off multi-core support. Ive seen no loss in game quality/performance but the stuttering is gone.

With the default game ("mat_queue_mode 1") I would alt-tab and see that both cores were maxed at 100% (something no other games I play do) while using "mat_queue_mode 0" I can see that core1 is about 75% while core2 is about 25%.

The other night I hosted a regular campaign with 4 people (2 of them local friends, 1 from unknown). Everyone said they had a good connection and the game was smooth for everyone. (10MB Cable)
