    US Light Gunner Character.

How many of you feel as I that the US Marine "Light Gunner" class should have a Helmet? for me he looks out of place and not much like a Marine that is fighting in the Pacific, If this does not bother you please vote to add a helmet as I would like to send this to Treyarch so the can finish his uniform before the do date..

    Thank you for your time.

I think the Marines with helmets look good but the lack of webbing and other stuff on the one without makes him look stupid.

You have to get my vote here. I know the uniform became part of the soldier as their own body and there were strict regulations on wearing the complete uniform, but I also know that this was a type of rebellion by fighting men and the pacific theatre was a very hot and bloody warzone. Wouldnt he not be wearing his helmet for fear of heat exhaustion and/or losing it in the running/gunning of battle?

The japanese didnt have helmets but cloth caps. Of course metal was in short supply and the japanese died by staggering numbers, so maybe thats not the best argument

Its the developers, just check COD3 and those were the worst models ive seen in my life gaming. Lanky monkey skeletons that looked like they just came from planet Bean Stalk, and had goofy animations. Same thing present here except bad skinning.

Who cares? The USMC weren't running around with SVT-40s and Type 99s in WWII either.

A marine could've picked up a Type 99 off a fallen Japanese soldier; it wouldn'tve been unheard of. Although, seeing a marine shooting at Japanese soldiers with an MP40 is a bit strange.

It doesn't bother me, TBH. The guy could've lost his helmet while diving for cover somewhere.

In the big picture, COD:WW is not a history simulator, and from the dev perspective, this really is a minor issue that doesn't affect gameplay. Maybe they'll "fix" it eventually in a patch, but they really do have more important things to worry about for release.

If you want a more historical COD then play COD2. :)

I think all the uniforms are messed up. The character who carries submachine guns shouldn't have a giant pack on his back. Also the camo is wrong. The U.S. Army used plain green. The USMC had a three-shade uniform called Green-side-out, they would switch sides and it would have the same effect but three-shade brown.

Almost like nowaday's woodland green camo and the US Army cookie desert camo.

I think the Japanese camo is good, I think the German camo is perfect. However the Russian camo stands out way too much. I don't know it it was like that though. If so I understand why they had so much trouble fighting the Germans. They fight as well fight in pink for that matter.

The Marine Uniforms look kinda dumb imo. The Japanese are cool. The Germans are cool except they all have their sleeves rolled up. The Russians are alright, but they seem to be dressed a little warmer than they should be. I don't think that the whole Russian army ran around in trench coats in Germany.

A helmet definitely belongs on his head, especially due to it being in WWII

I have a real urge to sig that.

I honestly feel that the developers left everything to the bare minimum they would get away with.
