Oh, it's not just kids, not by a long-shot. There are PLENTY of whiny, immature adults on the COD:WW forums crying just as much, or more, than the kiddies. Plus, being adults, they try either "shame" Treyarch or play the "financial threat" card, saying they won't buy the game if they don't get the Beta immediately. :laugh: Yeah, right. A small number maybe, but most are so addicted and have such anticipation that it's just an empty, silly threat.

Although I think this whole thing could've been handled better by Treyarch/Activision, it's nice to see people on this forum generally having much more patience and understanding than those other nitwits. :thumbsup:

I don't get it, people wait this long for the game to come out, then all of a sudden they mention the word "Beta" and everyone becomes impatient pricks.

Sadly, the whole guessing game of when it will come out (IE: This past Thursday/Friday) only fuels that fire.

With all the other games coming out now, especially Far Cry 2, they should go explore elsewhere to keep them busy for a little bit, or just continue doing what they've been doing this whole time without COD:WaW.:shakehead:

I dont think a number of things have helped...

1) XBOX 360 getting the beta so soon.

- Okay so that's the "big market" now, the big test bed. But COD was originally a PC game, and there is a loyal fan base there. It's sort of a kick in the face to them, plus its doesn't look good when you treat your biggest fan base the best (i.e they are hinting at the fact they care most about their money making).

2) Soon, very soon, so very nearly soon...

- You know what I'm saying. If the Beta is coming out in 2 weeks, just say it. It's quite clearly teasing people a bit. Some people may enjoy this, some don't.

They are not doing anything wrong, but you can see how this can be percieved... (I don't have a big problem because I'm not a COD fanboy.. I just want to play a free MP game for a while).

True. For that statement to be released that it was now upgraded to VERY soon, then we hear the news about the beta servers, tons of media came out last week, we see the test servers etc, all of this building up to Fri/Sat release maybe and nothing. Before, it would've seemed random, but they almost prepped the release and then it didn't happen. Which makes me wonder if during the server testing, they didn't find something that added this extra bit of delay IF they were going to release it this last weekend.
