Playing on our community server last nite.
3 of our server rules.
1 no bunny hopping.
2 no base rape.
3 no stealing from uncap
anyway this guy(name not important).
starts hopping so i ask him not to.
he hops again i warn him(admin power FTW).
he comes into uncap steals tank and shoots me i kick him base rape.
he rejoins server and says why did you kick me you funking idiot
it was not base rape i took the tank and killed 1 player.
i banned him.

Will always be able about who don't quite understand plain rules, although I could see that you'd get a lot of people kicked for bunnyhopping on your server... I know I do it instinctively since it's what I'm used to :\

Still, that guy sounds like he had it coming.

bunnyhop FTW! But breaking the other rules after you said not to wasn't cool. Skates knows I push the limits on his server sometimes, but I try my best to follow the rules out of respect.

2 no base rape. - Remove them from your base. If you can't, play something else.

are you a pub server admin? these rules are actually pretty good. it's the morons admins who kick you for owning & knifing them that are the problem. these are pretty basic rules to help insure fair play as i see it. personally, i don't like bunny hoping but don't kick/ban for it. i just laugh at it. each server may have it's own set of rules. i have no problem abiding by them or finding a different server.

in competition, all is fair. but running a pub server has to be a little different. you want your server to stay full of happy players. getting base raped, etc just makes players leave. obviously this player couldn't comprehend a few simple rules. he broke all 3 & insulted the admin. not a wise decision imo.

Spoken like someone that has never tried to populate a pub server and keep it populated. Sounds like fair enough to me. We used to have the no bunny hopping but it is so hard to enforce that we dropped it.

Also sounds like you were more than fair in your warnings. As I said above, they will always be there.

When you play the game you have to read the rules of the server! They (Admins) are paying for the server to be operational for your enjoyment.
But, people still go out and break the rules. It will never end.

Wots against bunny hopping? It slows them down and they can't shoot or knife properly while bunny hopping. I love when my opponent bunny hops during a knife duel, a sure cause for teh win.

I only hate RDX bunny whores :dead: :shakehead:
