Nvidia problem with 178.13 driver update.

Hey, I dl'ed and installed the 178.13 update yesterday and today I was playing with my recon and I used the it-33. And lol! Screen goes black...
I've read Minmaster topic but I don't know how to roll back to a previous driver...I dl'ed it from windows update.
And it's a 9800 GTX+.

Okay: Config screen -> System -> Hardware -> Drivers (I think).

I have dutch version but when you click it you need to right click on : 'Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX ' (or another) -> Properties -> Roll back.

I have vista but I think it's the same as in xp as I also did that on xp.

yea had the problem too and had to revert to older drivers. it also goes black when you get hit by explosives or as you die.

178.13 doesn't seem like it likes 2142. I got graphical corruption which was fixed by rolling back to 175.19.

I wonder if it's the engine or just 2142 specifically.

Just 2142 I think. Far Cry, BF2, UT3 and Supreme Commander all ran great.

I also have the problem but the issue was linked to Anti-alias settings. If you normally play at 4x try switching to 2x or even bumping up a level. The problem would always manifest itself when I would go recon and use the camo. My entire screen would go black. When I dropped to 2x Anti-aliasing I got my visuals back. Changing the setting back to 4x would return the black screen. Oddball stuff. Its not your system of GPU its the driver.
