Need suggestions for a new FPS game

Im very much into battlefield 2 and i was looking for a new FPS game already out or upcoming on PC that has vehicles in it...I almolst got frontlines: fuel of war but that got bad reviews from what i heard. I might get battlefield 2142 and ArmA but does anyone know some other ones coming in 2009 or already out from before that are fun?

CoD5, OFP2, ArmA2, FC2, BF3 (mebeh). GTA 4 PC but that's not a fps shooter, just a suggestion though.

BF2142, i bought it a while back, its really good, more of an addon than an expansion to BF2.

far cry 2 is looking pretty good, although i'm not sure on vehicles for the multiplayer

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars!! That has fun vehicle combat and has some fun firefights. Havn't played it since I upgraded my rig (which was a couple of months ago) so I dunno if its dead...

games that will be released soon include Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3

I am remaining quite skeptical about these and trying not to get my hopes up because they are cross platform and thus run the risk of being crap

Stalker doesn't have vehicles but you can download mods that let you use vehicles, but I don't think that will satisfy the user's OP.

far cry 2 is coming out in a week or so and from what i hear it will be an awsome game
it has open gameplay and a world of 50 km2 in which you can find vehicles

COD5, is saying they will have vehicles but just like they said PC would have Prestige mode but didn't, so don't get your hopes really high and find out COD doesn't have vehicles. For me, I hope they do just because COD has been more of running and gunning than tank fights. Also 2142 is a good game but has many noobs from prior experience, but if you want to play more of the battlefield series with a little furtureistic feal then it would be great, and for Quake Wars, its not really dead it still has a decent amount of player (as of September) but yeah look into BF2142, if you do get it, hit me up and we'll play.

I'm also a Battlefield fan and I've tried many, many games. Sigh.

I'd recommend downloading the BF2 mod: Allied Intent Xtended at www.aixtended.com as being the best thing I've ever done for PC war gaming.

The new version (2.0) is due for release before November. AIX is 100% free and provides a level of Battlefield goodness not included in the retail product.

There are hundreds of maps available, a thriving online community and the new version adds stats, unlocks, new weapons, planes, helos, maps and great new animations and other things to improve the experience. It's real purdy =).
