BF2 is intended for online play only ( Hence no story to single player), So If people buy it knowing they have an inadequate internet service then it's their own stupidity.. But yes they should have made the single player a little more expansive at least to practice on...

You'd think that, wouldn't you. So did the UT 2004 team. Then they looked at the numbers and found that less than half of the people who bought the game actually played online. Most people played against bots or in LANs against bots. I don't see any reason for a developer these days to ignore the fact that a lot of people don't want to play with a ****ton of anonymous assholes online. Hell, especially BF2, where the hitboxes are all ****** up. Some people would rather have a small number of players on a LAN and have the teams fleshed out by bots to give the illusion of a larger battle.

Maybe someone is not so good playing with humans,maybe he wants to play with bots for fun,maybe his internet connection is cut off maybe he likes it more that way.Maybe maybe maybe...

BF2 is an amazing game but having all the good features just for the online game sucks!!!!!

Seriously, though. If you want to have a lot of fun playing single-player you should try Allied Intent eXtended(AIX.)

actually, i loved singleplayer (aix and bf2 64sp made it better!) it made me not suck as much as i would. before i bought the game and just played it online at an internet cafe i sucked so badly, i would only get a kill once a round on a good round. what you have to realise is SP is for practice before going into multiplayer.

AIX and other mods have much improved AI but it's still silly, hehe.

Nope, not at all. There should'nt even be a single player IMO. If you want to play bigger maps on SP, go download 32 man lan.

On second thought, don't, because I'd rather have you in my server so I can get an extra two points.

BF2 is a pure mp game. Buying a mp game to play sp is like buying comdoms for "singelplayer" sex(wanking, if you didn't get it). And then complain that the comdoms only have one colour!

If you suck at FPS games and have crappy internet, then PLAY ANOTHER GAME!

The question is simple and I'm asking it to prove to EA how silly it was to not include the unlocks in the Single Player mode(which you also can't play all the maps in and you can only play the 16 player mode maps....it sucks).

So would you like to be able to play with the weapons you have unlocked in Multiplayer,in the Singe player maps?
