I would love to play Karkland with 128 players. What a war, no holes in the line, support everywhere. No easy caps, no easy flanking. 100 player rushes. It would be insane!

I would play on a server with this in a heartbeat!

We dont need bf2 vanilla maps with 128 players. It would be fine if they unlock this feature in the engine just because of the mods if nothing else. Id love to play PR on 128 player server and I can say that my pc will handle this.

Yeah that would be pretty fun. You could have had something close to that on the old rubberducky server. They had 16 player-sized karkand with a 64 player limit. Their server was full 24/7 and it was really fun. It's a shame they decided to take down all their servers

Just remember, not all the servers are going to be 114 players. It's not like they'll force server admins to set there limit to 114. There's still going to 64 player servers and everything in between.

Of course; I'm not opposed to the idea, I just doubt it would work well.

Not really, everyone is different, for example I love 64 player servers with vehicles (no vehciles servers are pathetic). Just because your pc cant handle it dont say that that way.... not everybody is like you

Nah. Karkand sucks with 30+ players, but other larger maps are actually quite good with that amount.

128 players would be awesome if it could be made lag free and with huuuge maps... 4 helis on each side and loads of tanks and stuff... awesome

This HAS TO BE the worst idea i have EVER heard.

I think there is enough sized servers to choose from the way it is now.

Don't get me wrong, i think alot of games out there would be able to take advantage of 114 playes online at one time, but i don't think BF is one of them.

Just because it's 114 players doesn't mean it will ruin Battlefield. This could be a goal for BF3 designed from the ground up, but I'd like them to make an adequate city map for 64 people first. :|:

And wtf, 114, 57 vs 57, where'd you get that number? I'd be happy with 96 man 48 vs. 48 though. 150's been done by Joint Ops, but I'm not so sure BF should expand so fast.

Before you start bashing the concept... think a little out of the small vanilla BF2 box all of you seem to be sitting in.

This would do wonders for PR. Considering it is going for total realism, it will never reach its goal (obviously) but it certainly isn't getting any closer when you try to simulate full all out war with two armies that are both 32 soldiers big.

Raise it! It would be awesome.
