Yes ofcourse I can have the block option on. Good point. But it still freaks me out that all my gaming hours are recorded.

According to Xfire I've played a total of: 2814 hours which is 117.25 days...

Though I've had Xfire since alpha/beta releases back in like 2004... (Member Since: 2004-07-02)

(though I did miss one year of gaming due to going to Canada for gap year)

I'm always on while gaming. I don't really mind when someone messages me while in-game. It depends on the situation I'm in in the game to reply, usually when I die and am waiting to re-spawn. I'm also on MSN all the time now since I got a new computer - now having MSN open while gaming doesn't affect my FPS in-game like it used to.

Just turn the option on that automatically starts xfire when you turn your computer on, and then don't log out until you turn your computer back off.

Oh no the best people are the random people who look through friends of friends to rant to you about how you're a terrible person because you're playing game X.

Xfire causes many of my games, mostly TF2 to cause exeptions or have internal 9001xxx erros which close down my games. :rawr

So I don't use it in game.

If I'm gaming and someone writes to me on xfire, I get pissed off. So I never use xfire anymore when I'm in game and I don't like to be online when I'm doing something else neither so mostly I'm only on xfire when I'm working on the forums.

Anyone else feel that xfire in-game was a cool idea at first but now its just annoying?

It's annoying as hell. When I play BF2, use Xfire and jump in a tank, my "X" gets stuck because I have to use Scroll Lock and function and I "Puff Smoke" or when in a jet or helo, I flare constantly until I scroll lock out of it.. Pisses me off.. and it's usually useless BS messages :laugh:

Once you turn off the annoying ripping sound its all good, has become the lag monster in cod4 recently tho :\
