This happened yesterday yesterday when I was playing in Karkand.All of a sudden it was raining trucks here and there lagging the entire server.I don't know if this happens often(I hadn't played for a long time online)but it sucks.It's fun ok.But if you're trying to play seriously....well it sucks!

Yeah, it's the commander hack. Been around for a while and quite annoying if you're trying to play a serious game.

Its frustrating when your on a server playing bf2 and you look atv the scroes and its obvious whos cheating, yeah the guy with 80 odd kills and 5 deaths and you initiate a kick vote

Oh, so YOUR that guy that just glimpses at the scoreboard and instantly decides who is hacking based on their score. Do you ever spectate? See if their gun twitches randomly? Was he in a vehicle? Does he have a squad of medics around him?

Take it easy.Andy is right.People can get frustrated in this game.Personally I've seen the weirdest and most annoying stuff in this game rather than in any other fps or any other game I've played.And I've been playing CS,Call of Duty,Battlefield Vietnam etc.

I've seen hacks,I've been spawn killed,I've seen guys walking to me jumping like ninjas over my head,landing behind and killing me before I even get to turn around,I've seen enemy armor taking more than 3-4 hits and not get destroyed while I got destroyed with one shot....I've fired on guys almost emptying a magazine on their bodies and they got me with one shot...I've seen fcking weird stuff in this game.

Of course you could go and say "oh yeah if you are a noob all that can happen" but hey...how about no?

What pisses me off all the time in this game is that I join a server and no matter which team I am in....they lose!And when I finally join a server where I'm in a team that's winning,I'm playing well...we're doing ok....it kicks me to the other team that's losing just a bit before they lose.

That's a classic for us snipers, Jump your way towards the nub anti tank guy sitting there spitting off rounds then as you get nice and close BoOyAa!!! over the head and stick in the knife! :laugh:

What pisses me off all the time in this game is that I join a server and no matter which team I am in....they lose!And when I finally join a server where I'm in a team that's winning,I'm playing well...we're doing ok....it kicks me to the other team that's losing just a bit before they lose.

Yeah that used to piss me off something CRAZY!! Until I posted on here and someone told me that joining a squad eradicates this problem.. I used to get switched closed to every round.. Now I have been creating a squad I have not been switched once in the last month..

Lol first of all it wasn't snipers who jumped over :P

And I very rarely play as anti-tank(unless it's with the RPGs where I can actually hit the target!).But anyway...yeah I had some guys JUMP OVER my head,land behind me and ...what the heck?I thought this game was supposed to be realistic!

And as for the squads...hmm....I've rarely seen people form squads in the servers where I played.And when I was invited in one and joined it...I even more rarely saw people actually DOING what the orders were saying.But when that happened it was victory

Well it's your call.. Create a squad and play a full game, or keep playing how you are and getting switched to the losing side every second round..

P.S. I didn't say it was only snipers who did it nor did I say you were anti-tank.. I'm just stating that's a common trait with snipers :) Anti-Tank = Snipers best friend.

Ha, if ppl would just play the game good....

I mean having a commander giving orders to the squads. The squadleader following the orders and the whole squad working together to achieve the goal...
Then you have a fantastic gaming experience.

Unfortunately this rarely happens, just watch your squads when you're commander. Most of the time they don't stick together. Maybe you have two guys working together but the rest is just distributed over the whole map. everyone's just doing what he wants.

I usually kick the squadmembers that don't follow me out of the squad without discussion. But this may end in me being alone in the squad.

If a squad of six works together it's nearly impossible to be stopped, just have enough medics and support in it. Specially in IO the teamwork squads decide if the round gets won or lost. Mostly won of course.

It's these rounds when I find a squad like this that I don't want to stop playing BF2.
Other days when the whole team consists of loners, nadespammers, claywhores and noobs that I quit the game and go watch TV.

Or I just go on a vehicle server as commander and arty the hell out of the noob snipers, hahaha ;-)

After my many years here, some undercover, i finally saw that here at TBF, if you say something like this, the locals will indeed take your head, its like dawn of the dead in here when you anger anyone, specially if its a regular, whff then you got problems, about 20 bizillion crazed bf2 players start on you and your like ow noooz. I left BF2 along time ago because of these cheater foolz, BF2 is the haven for them, thats where cod wins, COD2 not COD4, Call Of Duty is WW2 why they made a modern version is beyond me, silly sausages. But yeh, i'd leave to, BF2 blows ***, i only play some of the mod for a quick blast around in the jets n then i'm on my merry way.

As for you crazed locals, beware, i'm packing heat now, packing heat at the local hardware store on fifth avenue, you should come in, i'll getcha a discount. But Grr you've been warned!

No my observations are not based on the scoreboard allthough it does help, my observations are based on the fact on the guy who i just killed and his gun is still firing when hes laying there dead (aimbot hack) or the guy using the no fog hack when i get sniped at a considerable distance (i run the game on high with everything maxed out with 16x AA and 16xQ AF) and im somehow killed past the fog distance limit, or trhe commander dropping 16 million UAV above my head (commander hack) and then theres the ones on youtube and pbbans. Then theres the fact that punkbuster itself has been compromised and in all reality is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Heck even the no1 leader OSS ROID has taken part in stat padding if you look at his stats, sent the evidence to EA but they probably wont do anything about it. I just dont understand why everyones happy to put up with the cheating ? been playing bad company last week and its a blast and for me puts the fun back into the game knowing that everyone is on a level playing field.

Perhaps Ive just been unlucky playing on the wrong server ? who knows, perhaps i might pick up this game after the next patch hopefully things will improve.

Just wish this would happen to every dishonest gamer :
