While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.

wow just wow i state an obvious fact about the poor state of this game and you guys come in here bashing me ?
firstly i havnt got a problem with being beaten fair and square, but when your playing on a good server and some guy decides to join in with blatant 80 + kills and 0 deaths ? not just for 1 round but for 10 rounds and no deaths ? the trouble is the lack of decent servers or lack of admins on said decent server. But im sorry if you think cheating isnt a problem because it is and EA/DICE are doing F ALL. The fact that punkbuster has been proven to bve worthless and not only that on a compromised server the people who hack/cheat can use punkbuster against honest players, the game right now in its current state is full of holes and EA/dice dont care about a 3 year old game. Bash any console you want but at least theres no cheating or hacking with online console gaming. Personally I dont give a sh*t about stats but its obvious by looking at stats EA/Dice are ignoring the problem. How many of you out there have reported a problem with statpadders/cheaters/exploiters only to find there stats are still the same ?
As for bad company.... you know id never even have consider a console to play battlefield but if theres one game that did it for me its bad company. The engine is purely amazing. You will never see frostbite on pc or if you do it will lag like hell. No more hiding round corners on battlefiled just blow a big f*ckin hole in the wall. Its how battlefield should have been. BF2 is showing its age and the game is very dated.
Its not just BF2 thought all online pc gaming has a big problem with cheating.

and thats another thing search the ingame browser and you will see at least 3 bf2 and 4 bf2sf ranked stat padding servers. You say EA/Dice care about the game then why in hell are there oficially STAT PADDING RANKED SERVERS ?

Why should they care about a 3 year old game? Fact is they do - they are using their own resources to patch it for free.

Remember, the console is a stripped down PC. Many, many gaming PCs are far, far more powerful than your game consoles. It allows game developers to continually push the envelope, not having to wait on the next generation console to be released by your gaming conglomerates.
4th highest, maybe less. You're forgetting the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 engine mods and games.
And besides, it's very simple: every popular game will attract its share of cheaters. Unavoidable reality...
I'll repeat myself: they're not as prevalent as you seem to believe, so if you see a hacker around every corner, I can guarantee you the problem is facing you in the mirror dude.

Your two main points are that their are more cheaters ruining the game which is not true, just about everyone else here agrees that cheaters are a declining bunch, and if by some miracle they are such a vast number they must be cheating in such a way that it is affecting no one other than yourself!!!
The second point is that EA and Dice aren't doing anything about the game yet everyone knows they are working on a new patch.

wherever you get your game info from...please stop listening.
#1: If EA/Dice didnt care there wouldnt be another BF2 patch in beta atm.
#2:you have a problem with people beating you with unlocks and you "claim" they stat-pad b/c of said unlocks. FFS learn your weapons and how to use them, default weapons in BF2 can easily overcome unlocks IF and only IF you take the time to get to know your weapons( and how to use them) instead of bitching about it on some forum. Bottom line who cares if some folks stat pad, I dont.
#3: if you think consoles dont have cheats in multiplayer obviously you need to open your eyes jsut a smidge more.
#4: people will always want an edge over whoever their opponent/s is/are, thats the nature of being competitive... get over it really, all of us have.

jesus, the dude who started this thread is an idiot... I get owned every day(even by recruits....humiliating much), i have to wait years for my stats and unlocks, but it doesn't stop me playing this game, i loved it when i bought it when it came out, and i still love it today!
