Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Nice set of pseudo rules that violate the RoE and EA EULA.
Well, unfortunately I reported dozens of abusive admins, many kind of servers breaking the RoE and and stat padding servers in the past, EA didn't care and there was enough evidence. I doubt they will care.
This thread made me remember the times I got banned for dumb reasons and false accusations. Back then when I got my first bans I would get pissed off, but soon I did find out it was really common and laugh when I see something like this happening.
Back then what could be done? Report to EA?
Yes, done... but no actions were taken...
I hope they start making these games auto-admin only when running as a public/ranked server. If its a game that has ranking or stat-tracking like BF2. With whatever adjustable features or whatever rules that are allowed, built in. And thats it!
To run special rules, or use 3rd party admin tools, or have custom content, should mean running as a modded server without ranking. We certainly shouldnt be having admins who are kicking people off ranked servers because they "think" they are cheating, or because they were owning it up with a vehicle. The whole purpose of "ranking" is the competition against all the other players, no mercy! For many, that competition is the fun and the whole point of playing in the first place.
You want to run a server thats fun and light with rules that dont allow you to grind the other players into mush, then it should be unranked! Im not against servers running how they like. But if they want ranked status, they should be forced to run pure.
This made me laugh. I was on the "Losers-Forever" (click to see their response) server earlier and i was going around my business killing when i get told about the "3 time rule".
ROFL! its a new one on me is that, i used to play there, thats a newly enforced one, didn't used to have that. Its the power mad admins, some are slack and others are as tight as a straight mans butt hole. You can never get a medium admin, its always one or the other.
ON one server there's a rule that says "not more than 3 players of one clan/team"
Needless to say that if there are more than 3 clanmates in the admins team NOTHING happens....
FipZ
Ah, and another one.
On the Team Deutschland EF server baserape is not allowed, which is good,
BUT, this also applies to choppers and jets flying over the base to rearm and repair, so if you shoot them whilst doing this you get kicked.
Well, this is still doable.
Funny thing is that the 2 admins that are there most of the time get into the chopper and hover above the base to shoot TV-missiles from there, so if you fly by and shoot them they quickly descent to the helipad to repair/flee so you can't finish the kill.
Funny thing again: If you are on their team and you kill enemies above their base, yep, nothing happens....lol
Yeah, another crazy rule and for RoE and my understanding, "illegal" rule.
I know them, not very well, and the reasoning for this is that on their server there are a lot of high pingers because server is in US but many of the players who go to their server are from South America.
So players with low pings have "advantage" against the higher pingers.
If you like playing on their server you should report this on their forums, and to EA. They should not enforce such kind of rule.

Yes, it violates the BFROE but you will not change it. There are so many sniper only, p&k only, No clay, no C4 and padding servers still running because none cares about them.
Nearly every server has rules that violate the BFROE.
Some rules are very useful and the gameplay benefits from that and other rules are just to make the game easier for the admins and give them enough reasons to randomly kick players.
I was playing at a server yesterday where the players would piss me off.In the end I made it to their base, got inside an Abrams(it was Ghost Town and I was playing with the Spetsnaz)and started firing on them and I got kicked.Yeah they had a rule: Don't steal vehicles.
I had tried to fly a Hind at the beginning of the map, their apache blew it up while I was in.Then tried to fly the Hind again, their artillery smashed it.Then when I actually got it in the air someone was close and blew it up with an Anti-tank weapon.
And then if I get in their Abrams I'm bad :shakehead:
Well you know there are many servers with weird rules like:
Don't bunny-jump!
Don't jeep-jihad!
Don't get to the enemy's last base!
Don't use explosives and claymores near flags!
Don't fly helicopters!
Don't steal cars!
Don't TK!
Don't talk badly!
Don't attack commanders!
Don't win!
Don't smoke,don't drink,don't don't don't....
(The above was a humorous representation of how things are becoming in BF2)

I do not live in the US i live in Trinidad in the Caribbean,Right next to South America. And yea reporting them will not do anything at all.Ea does not care
