BF2 is an awesome awesome game, the best!

But I've personally had enough, I know pretty much every map by heart including what tactic to use on each map.

When are we going to get something new? Bad Company is for console kiddies, and Heroes sucks, when is the real Battlefield coming out? anybody know anything?

It will come out when these threads end (which is never.)

While I'd like to see it come out soon, I'm hoping to God that the delay in any formal announcement implies that they are putting a lot of hard work into it... So, time will tell.

There was the "Five EA titles are in the works" thing,
and Battlefield 3 was kind of just speculation. Apparently
there was a business plan type paper sent to investors or something.
I don't think anyone knows if it's begun development yet.

I hope it has great network code.

Dude, they haven't even made an official announcement yet. Armed with that fact alone, it's obvious the game won't be out for at least 2 years...

You can start whining and ejaculating in your shorts when they begin releasing screenshots and concept art.

haha!! well put sloi computer games nowadays are so complicated that you cant just throw stuff out onto the market (well.. except for MoHA) when they feel like it.... they want to make people happy and not hate them for making them buy a crappy game... just, chill and thank them for making it perfect... (not perfect, but you know what im saying)

It would be nice if they just intergrated the Euro Forces and Armoured Fury weapons and maps into a nice 1.60 patch to keep us going........
I actually really liked Euro, especially the map with the long bridge (cant remember the name). I re-installed it the other day and was disappointed that there were no players

Surely its about time they made these free considering no-one plays 'em anymore......

I played Battlefield Bad Company demo on my PS3 and thought it was pretty good...not sure why there is no PC release cos I'd buy it. Cant handle using a pad on the PS3 version though.

"Kidnap the Commander" that would be awesome. Get the enemy Commander back to your base ALIVE.

Or, "Assassination" game mode, assassinate the enemy commander. Hmm, both would suck if your commander was a tard.
