Auto-Admin and soloing.

BRRAHHHHHHHHGGH.

This is SO annoying! There is no escaping it...In 2 hours of play I got kicked twice for soloing, by this damned autoadmin feature that seems to be spreading throughout (mainly german) servers. One of the kicks was a result of me using the HYDRAS on another helicopter!

And don't even get me started on the uncap boundaries. If I want to follow a jet that I've already engaged back to his uncap then I'll do it.

Has anyone else had some experience with it? It looks to me like it can tell when you're alone in the chopper, and then if you get a kill it will kick you because it naturally assumes you're soloing.

That code can't possibly be bug-free. I haven't experienced that yet... but the moment something like this becomes prevalent, I'm out. Gone. Away.

"Dodging" server admins and making up lovely little lies is easy enough. But a coded overseer? Not bloody likely.

that server i joined you and doggie on the other day kicked me the exact reason you just complained about.

Map was oman i was usmc i nearly got there jet down when he turn for his base, he went past the crane so i followed and shot him and got kicked instantly, i didnt even kill the tw@, i didnt rejoin.

Wouldn't that type of auto admin kicking for being in the uncap also affect infantry (or is it just vehicles)? If it affects infantry as well, that may prevent people from destroying commander assets (not defending themselves in self-defense) which would be a violation of the EA ROC.

Auto-admin really sucks. It's alright if it's used to enforce sensible rules like "no fighting commander with more than x players in the server", but otherwise it's actually ruining the game.

The only 24/7 Daqing server that I get decent ping on has auto-admin and it enforces just about every rule it can. The worst part about the server is that when you're loading up it tells you that the only two rules are no cheating and no acting like a smacktard.

It's auto admin. I've seen it before. It says "Auto-Admin: Rule 3 No Fighting Commanders" or autokicks people as soon as they get on the carrier. It's pretty gay.

You can restrict vehicles or infantry. On a server I played on vehicles were restricted from the enemy uncap but infantry was still allowed. I remember because I found out about it when I flew up really high over the enemy uncap and got warned. Then there were enemies in our uncap as infantry blowing up the assets.

I've seen a pic of the admin menu before of it and it does exist. admins can set areas of a map that warns / kicks people when they enter it. infantry and vehicle restrictions too. this is the first time I've heard of it being used against soloing. that seems againt the ROE: limiting how you can use a vehicle.

How does that mean you've been rammed? You can get road kills by shooting at an APC (or other vehicle) until it blows up and the explosion kills people around the vehicle. If you're in the jet, it'll say you killed them with the APC at the top left.
