Are 2142 Players all 12yr Old Christians from the 1930's?
Re: Are 2142 Players all 12yr Old Christians from the 1930's?
I've been kicked for saying (0ckp!t (with the appropriate letters of course) - Sucks when you are telling your friend to jump in the (ockp!t and then you get kicked w/o warning.
While I hate seeing a TON of profuse language (normally spammed by the 12 year olds who just learned a naughty word) I don't agree at ALL with the filters. The game is rated for a reason, and online isn't rated for a reason - case and point.

Nowhere did it say in the rules that inferring a swear word would result in a kick. FFS - this game is not for kids. If it was Pooh Bears Magical Adventures in DisneyLand then I could see why there would be such nonsensical rules being applied. What's with all the frikkin boy scout nonsense!

I am with you 110% language filters are ridiculous, its for 16+ everyone aged 16+ swears, heck from the age of like 8 you know all swear words, so it is just a pain in the arse

i got a language filter warning one for simply typing "lame". ya, some are just overzealous. profanity i can understand, but FFS? meh, admins are 12 y/o christians or don't know what they're doing w/ the filter.

War game for adults, lol it's rated T here in America and it's pretty tame, no blood or anything. I don't mind if a server kicks for swearing, but the admins need to learn how to configure the auto-filter.
