that and people who don't want younger kids seeing blood...same as how you don't see blood in cartoons (or movies) for younger kids... its pointless IMO, but w/eOriginally posted by randomguy114If games do that can they make it you can turn the blood effects off? most games DO have an option for turning off blood, I think, or at least turning it down a notch. If not, I bet you could always find a patch for it too.Comment

I never really liked killing dogs in games. Having them as pets for 30+ years will make you a bit biased
What I dislike in SP is the stealth part in "All Ghillied Up ".
Having to do a sequence again and again until you have memorized every step the enemy makes gets on my nerves. Keep that out of action based games please.
Unwanted stealth episodes totally killed "XIII" for me, an otherwise great game.
And I must admit that I used a guide to complete that part of Americas Army. I mean whats the point? It completely clashes with the style of the rest of the game.Comment

Semper Fi ever heard of it? They didn't know the nuke was going to go off. But they did know that if they didn't get their comrade out he would surely die. It's a sacrifice. And "No man hath more love then to give up his life for a friend".

Re: Thing I hated most in SP
The only real thing I don't like about SP is how there are certain parts of the game where enemies respawn endlessly because the devs want the player to rush Rambo-style to get a certain playing experience. I think it should be up to the player...if they want to Rambo it and get that adrenalin pump, go for it....but if they want to be smart/sneaky, set up from a good position, soften up the enemy from a distance and then take the objective with less "panic", then I think they should be allowed to do that.
That's the only real thing that puts me off of SP in some games...I don't like the "chicken with your head cut off" approach they often force the user into (which then often becomes a matter of quick-saving after each point, or repeating that segment over and over again).Comment

Im fairly certain before you fly back in the chopper pilot gets told he wont be at a safe distance from the nuke explosion and its his call. It was a woman pilot, probably nearly dead from the crash anyway, would die from the nuke anyway but oh no, its all take a chopper full of about 12 men in and get everyone killed. GG. I understand about the whole giving a life for a friend but ultimately they are not...they are all just going to die for the sake of one person who wont survive.Comment

Well the rest of the world can go play Splinter Cell, I still hate stealth games.
Especially when "stealth" just means trial and error until you have found the safe path to the target.Comment

Other than that single player is pretty seamless.. There's not a whole lot you could change without changing the whole aspect of the game..
