Meh, that looks just like the weapon the spy originally had in the first TF2 trailers, so I'll take a skeptical viewpoint on this.

No it doesn't,the one in the trailers consisted of a long barrel but that was it.

The one in the achievement clearly is a clip loaded gun with a silencer attached to it.nothing like the original.

i think it's just part of the artwork so you can quickly distinguish that it's a stereotypical spy.

It's been widely speculated/hoped for that the Spy would get a silenced tranq gun again like he had in TFC. I hope this is indeed the case.

The Spy could do with a little loving as players get much better at identifying them. I do hope they get the next update.

I predict you can shoot while cloaked with the silenced gun without getting un-cloaked but it will be far less powerful than the revolver.
