Pirates pirate games because there is rarely a great game out there anymore. Most of the major studios rush their game because they set a date and feel like they must make that date (cough EA). So they put a crappy underdeveloped game on the market instead of taking a few years to build a game from the ground up and make it truly revolutionary and worth buying. Even most SP games contain fewer hours than some of the classics.
