Well I dont know what you're thinking. Wether people try or not, everything is teamwork orriented. If you dont have defenders on a titan, you cant win. Squads, commanders, all of that is based around teamwork. It can be really bad or good based on the people, but COD4 is every man for himself.

like i said, not nitpicking, just the whole picture. i do think you have to keep the squad play for teamwork, but for graphics, performance, and the infantry combat system on the whole is something that COD4 has done very well. combine the best elements or working elements of both games and i'd imagine it to be a killer game.

No thanks man, sprinting people are hard enough to hit as it is and you cant sidestep while running, heck, the dudes in 2142 are probably walking to fast to pull that off as it is. :p

would you be happy if BF3 was basically CoD4 with vehicles and bigger maps? just gameplay-wise, not talking about the stat-tracking and awards system. CoD4 has the nice graphics, smooth game engine, and decent physics; if they just put in vehicles and made the maps BF size, would you be happy with it as the next BF game? just the big picture, not nitpicking every little thing.

I agree. The Call of Duty 4 engine is just awesome, so are the graphics. I would however like a few more weapons and factions to chose from. Also bigger maps with vehicles.

Also I'd like the factions and weapons as well as vehicles to be more realistic. I don't mean the gameplay. I mean the clothing and the way the weapon operates n stuff. Like the USMC wear MARPAT and the "Bad guys" wear civilian clothing if you get the picture. Also as I said more customization. Not different clothing n stuff but maybe more ammo choices and a certain holster to pull your pistol out faster n stuff. Get it?

That really is my big complaint about COD4 is small maps and no vehicles to drive or fly, although I don't think the developers had that in mind.

Nothing bad with that, it's just that CoD4 is a lot more competitive game than 2142 and well, that's it. CoD has always been about competitive gameplay on small, infantry only maps (not TDM, S&D is where it's at). Actually that's what the majority of FPS games are and you people talk like it's something bad :)

BF is the best FPS with vehicles, large maps and squadplay though :p
