Stephen, I must say your inability to admit you're wrong, and to fail at insulting others on such an epic scale is truly amazing.

You were wrong. You don't know everything. Admit it.

As for the topic - I, in all honesty, hope the patch doesn't change much. With the success that mods (PR for example) have had, it would be a mess if the patch altered how mods function.
And, after such a long period of having no patches/updates, the community has become accustomed to how BF2 plays currently, and exactly that. If the gameplay is affected in any way I can't begin to imagine the uproar that will arise from the community.
Even worse would be if the patch wasn't released as an incremental patch - 1.41 wasn't available incrementally, and it was a pain to download, I really hope the next patch isn't the same.

It's under current projects, not current games. The category is named games because that's where they put game-related info.

sooooooo, i've been gone for quite some time, are there any news about the patch, widescreen support and such? (now that i got one i care about it... so... sue me :p )

Haven`t played BF2 is ages and the patch won`t change that. They have to do some awesome stuff to get me back into it. Making guns work like they should would be awesome and a feat on its on with DICE.

Seriously, let us crouch or prone past claymores to bypass them without setting them off. I know they can do it since it works just fine in BF2142.
