Re: Where is the patch?
Clearly it will be Frostbite as they've spent time and money developing it for their needs. It will probably be an updated version of Frostbite, updated from the Bad Company version, similar to how Unreal Engine starts at 2.0, then moves to 2.5 etc as Epic add improvements.Originally posted by Sir. Re: Where is the patch?
I understand how the 'generation' engines work, but i would not be so sure they would use an engine designed for consoles mainly.Comment

Re: Where is the patch?
I see your point, but Bad Company was developed using PC's of course, so I assume that they will tweak the engine and the tools they have.
I was very impressed with what they achieved on a console with the Frostbite engine. The detail was high, with no pop-in that I noticed, and the sense of distance was very good. Compared to the console version of Frontlines Fuel of War, the draw distance was very poor, with a lot of fog used.Comment

Re: Where is the patch?
According to DICE and EA on their forums and other forums, we should have it by the end of Aug, early Sept.Comment

Re: Where is the patch?
NOBODY on this forum or outside of EA/DICE know when the patch is coming or what it will have in it.
So the quicker people stop TALKING BS, the better it will be for all of us.Comment
