Bad Company Newsletter M60 Unlock Code Don't Work!

The title says it all...

Anybody else having this problem?

Basically I type the code exactly as it appears all caps and hyphens in between each set up 4 letters/numbers and it loads a little bit and a notification on the screen pops up and simply says, "Weapon could not be unlocked."

That's B.S.

Also I never received an email with the sniper code unlock... :censored: (Pre-ordered from the EA Store which am 100% sure said they'd include the sniper code but not the keychain but I'm just concerned about the code)

I guess I'll try to email EA's Customer Service and hopefully they can provide help but I doubt it...

And if not then I'll just play until the 25th rank I guess...

Well first of all ak1knight, thank you very much but I tried your code and had the same luck, or rather... lack of.

I'll send EA Customer Service some emails and hopefully maybe it's just a temporary glitch... :laugh:

Still I'd like to know if anybody else has the same issue cuz if it's a common problem then I don't to worry about it as much...

Have you tried to type the code with all CAPS? Remember to put the ' - ' things too in it...

If that doesn't work, you could try out to get a new code.

Some people have had the similar problem. I mean the code has either been a wrong one/hasn't worked(like for The_Eliminator). Or they haven't recieved it...

But TBH, i think you won't prolly even use the M60, because there's one support gun with Red Dot Sight... It owns every other gun in that class.

If you email EA they'll sort it out for you it might just take a while and be a bit frustrating but at least you'l get the m60.

As far as the weapon is concerned I like it. It packs quite a punch compared to some of the other LMG's.

Don't listen to StoneCold Its definately worth checking out.

Well for one thing, yesterday I resigned up for the Battlefield Newletter a second time and got a second code emailed to me and chances are, this time it worked so no problem...

So I'll make sure to test out the M60 today and give StoneCold313 a little review on that baby...

Still need the last one though for the sniper unlock so I'll shoot EA Customer service an email later today and see if they can email one to me which I'm pretty sure they will cuz i got an email already confirming the date when I ordered it and all so I can hardly imagine that they'd refuse...

I contacted EACS about the sniper unlock and they sent me a new code rather quickly :)

Hmmmmmmmm... I'm guessing that the one with the red dot sight is the one that comes with the Gold Version of Bad Company?

I just ordered the regular one so I won't get it until rank 25

I got the regular one too, and i think it was like second or third gun in the support class. So no need to wait until you reach 25...

Right! I forgot about that and yeah, I unlocked it yesterday and liked it a lot more than the m60, just cuz it's a bit hard to aim down the iron sights on it but yeah, the red dot sight is very useful!

You can pretty much shoot accurately (almost) to the other side of the map with that thing...
