Yeap, but isn't TWL the main league for BF2?

**On a sidenote, I'd quote your "I'm stupid, there, I admitted it/p.s I'm stupid" in my sig, but you're new to the forums so I'll be nice

CLANS (good ones, anyway) aren't that easy to join unless you're fairly skilled at something in BF2. The ones that invite you to join without try-outs or questions simply want your money to keep their server up.

TWL is what you join if you want to measure your e-peen against others. You should just keep in mind that many of your competitors actually wear strap-ons, so you won't necessarily get a fair comparison.

Some animosity towards clans and TWL Sloi??

Im in a clan, and skill is not a requirement. We are mostly concerned about personality.

I respectfully must disagree with your assertion about clans and money. While we used to have a monthly fee for admins once e got to know them and vote on them to keep things going, we did away with that. We "clan up" because we have fun gaming with eachother and chatting in ventrilo. "Skills" as you so correectly noted, seem to equate to the e-peen. We don't require skills, we require that you're a decent guy and can have fun with the group.

If you don't require skill from new members then you're not one of the "good" clans that Sloi was talking about. By good clans he means seriously competitive clans, not the hey-let's-have-fun-clans.

Yeah, so don't join Doggie's 5v5 clan if you want a good clan.

But yeah, I was in a few BF2 clans but I never really got involved in any competition - flying around and having a good time with friends was good enough for BF2... Now CoD4, that's a different story. I don't see the need to compete in BF2 anymore is my point.

                          Sikpanzer, you're avatar is offensive.

The only clans I know about are the ones NOT to join.

{DP} clan: they had some nice guys, but some of them just don't like being killed, especially with a knife to the face. I was in this clan for a little while until I got banned without a reason. These guys would insist I join TS, then accuse me of using it to find their positions. Asshatterey.

)BIA( clan ... or )BIA(tch: I never liked theses guys. They kick for stupid reasons.

*TA* clan: I used to like these guys a lot, but recently they've acquired some new admins with sh¡tty tempers. The other day I was taking off in the J10 and got rammed by a friendly car. I got kicked for it.... Then I came back and was having an excellent round running people over and knifing this one *TA* repeatedly until I was kicked for 'glitching'. Most of the older members here are pretty reasonable though.

I would never want to join anyone's clan. Tried it once and I just can't deal. I don't follow orders, especially from some giant pen¡s clan owner. My only interest in having a clan would be having a team for matches, but it's just too hard to find the right people. When it comes to BF2, just about everyone's an аsshole.

Let's not turn this into another one of those bash-a-random-clan-threads.

I have no animosity towards clans, though I admit I'm not impressed with the lack of "true" competition on TWL (more specifically, the 2v2 heli section). I'm just telling it like it is.
