    Bailer, huh what?

I've only really noticed this term being used on any regular basis in the last few weeks. The question I have who the hell thinks this is any kind of insult. I asked one of the guys in the server why he kept calling people a bailer and his reason was that if you've lost the dog fight and are about to get shot down you should just accept it and take it like a man.

Huh, that has to be the most retarded reason for calling someone a name I have ever heard in my life. The eject button is there for a reason, using it to escape a potential death is a valid tactic. It's almost like calling someone a name because you managed to sneak up on them and instead of sitting back and letting you shoot them they've decided to shoot back.

So does anyone else use this daft term and if so WHY?

Before you ask, yes I have been called a bailer and all I could say was 'deal with it'.

eh, im a "bailer" too. the point of the game is to survive, its idiotic to die in a flaming jet when you can float peacefully back to Earth on your comfortable parachute. Plus its rewarding to DENY your enemy of the kill, that they may have chased you for 3 minutes to get. Besides if they are that l33t, they will swing back and kill you in your chute, if not ah well.

I love bailing. There's a pretty damn good reason I choose the SpecOps kit and bail close to the commander assets... :)

Me and my clan throw around the term "bailtard" sometimes, but nothing personal is meant by it (kinda like calling your friend a "hacker" for making a crazy shot on you).

Some bailing is annoying though. I will bail if my jet is on fire. Sometimes, depending on my mood, I will bail if Im in the F35 without flares and the J10 has me, but only if I can't make a strato run.

However, noobs that are in the J10 that bail after you've taken their flares away and re-gain lock annoy the hell of me. You even try and shoot them down with your cannon, and they bail without a lock. Those people are annoying.

            I call those people bailers.

                    Re: Bailer, huh what?

Been called so many times, also when in f35 above my uncap :)

It is extremely retarded to call bailer because it is perfectly natural to eject when you feel you are goin to die. They are angry because they dont get a kill

lol, sure they teach US pilots to die in honor and not eject :p

                      Re: Bailer, huh what?

If only there was an ACTUAL ejector seat, that would be awesome, rocketing up the sky and get higher for more options to where to land with the parachute.
But in BF2, the point of the game is to survive, even in real life anyone would wanna eject with a missile coming strait at you...

I love calling people Rammers. :)

Nothing gets an argument heated faster than calling some pilot a rammer for an accidental collision.
