do i need to download and install ALL of the versions for it to work? or do i just need to get 3.0 before i dl and install 3.02?

Clan Mod is a competition mod for BF2142, it changes a lot of things here are a few things it changes.

Decreases the amount of sprint it takes to jump.
Increases the amount of sprint you have.
Limits your unlocks to only Tier 1 meaning nothing for medics other than a Herzog and Defib.

ClanMod is extremely popular in Europe, and in America it is barely heard of. This is largely due to the fact that ProMod was the mod we used here for competition, however now that is out of date and doesn't work with the patch so its just the standard game.

yeh the big thing is the unlock limitation, actually makes clan matches take skill instead of who can spam the most pk's ....

pk rockets really are one of the big things that are wrong with this game and i was talking with someone and they said they watched a "professional" ((LOL)) clan match and it was just a giant pile of stinky rocket spam.

ok ok i got this mod and installed and set up the protocol and started clanmod from the web browser but i didnt have any servers which is the same thing that happened last time so i figured that i didnt install correctly or i needed another version underneath.

could someone explain? i troubleshoot alot of stuff but this i just want on a plate so i can conveniently eat it

Go to "advanced settings" and uncheck EVERYTHING except for "same mod". Search then :)

you probably have the "ranked" button checked in the advanced search, clanmod is totally unranked = no stats = no worries = funnnnnn

yeah but thats one reason why i like the regular servers is because it is ranked and it counts to my stats. MMMYYYYY SSSSSSTATSSS!!! OMGMYSTATS

think of clanmod os training once u get good at clanmod and u go back to public it's liek a p1sstake

you remember redhammerZ? he was a clanmod player and what was it ? the only player ever in the top 17 with less that 1000 hours at the time. score per minute over 4 and kd over 3 with a best weapon of a bianchi of all things !!

Actually, the krylov is one of the only things wrong with clanmod, and it's not clanmods fault. 9 times out of 10 on a public clanmod server PAC team will be the favoured side of choice for a lot of people and a lot of people will ONLY play as PAC because they want the krylov. A totally banal way of playing the game but that's the unfortunate result.

aye that is a tad lame but attacking is much harder without it lol a decent eu team can clean up with scars as long as they keep the bad guys down range :)
