you'll need steam regardless, you could just download and install steam now and setup an account, configure friends, etc. steam is pretty awesome when its working right. :)

Yeah, Steam is quite good and TF2 too!! :yay: Been playing since today and i'm getting the hang of it
Only thing is: How the hell do i change my name? :p

Been on the OC and played with Heavy, did quite good for the first day :)

Go to your friends list.

View menu > Settings > You'll see the name entry box
