Now, I would guess that BF2 gets the same things as BF2142 did in its late patch: widescreen support and maybe 2-3 new maps.

You can't actually PID hack in bf2 cause the PID is encrypted or something (well i think ^_^) and no I don't think we should thank hacker I think we should thank every bf2 player who spams EA forums about bugs :salute:

Your avatar speaks the truth, however you do not. The PID is a bunch of numbers (mine is 46663699) and that is pretty easy to hack - and is in no way encrypted.

I wonder if the new patch is to ease the pain of removing the stats servers? Just a conspiracy theory.

And when a company says it 'has no plans' to do something, how often does it end up doing exactly that? If they said 'we will not shut down the account server until X happens' I would be more likely to believe them.
