I pretty much agree except for one or 2 circumstances.... say attacking a very hectic flag that's well defended... if you can slip a beacon in there then get your squad to do a 6 man spawn bomb onto the beacon you can cause quite a bit of carnage.

But yknow, that would mean your SL would have to be smart and your squaddies would have to listen. Bit of a cloud-9 situation to be honest. So yeah... generally speaking beacons are utter fail, as are those who use them.

My personal hatred is towards those who put them halfway between flags in open areas. You might think for a second as you're selecting a spawn "my SL is in the open... I'll spawn on and give support"... then next thing you know you're falling out of the sky hurtling towards 8 kill-hungry beacon campers.

I recently rediscoverd the RD-4 Otus. That thing is cool.
But it is difficult to hide when that thing is hovering above your head.. easy meat for PK's

Placing a beacon in the woods of Cerbere near Church or Village can be a great help defending or attacking the flag position.

I'd rather not join a squad than joining a bad one.

yeah being in a squad of 6 people that would actually work together like that (maybe the case with UK) would be extremely cool it would be hard to lose on pub but yeah generally i think spawning on SL is alot smarter because you come in QUIETLY and are immediately with the SL to give assistance.

uhh thats retarded because being in a bad squad is like not being in a squad except you have an extra spawn point and you might get extra points by chance if you are around the squad leader
