    My latest frustration is...

...squad leaders who never give orders! I know this has probably been talked to death here before, but what's the point of being a SL if you are NEVER giving orders? Kind of defeats the purpose of a squad doesn't it? Plus you don't get the extre squad points if you don't have an order set.

So I hit "orders sir?" over and over...yet nothing. I really don't get it. It only takes a sec to issue the order and it's to the benefit of everyone so that everyone knows what they are doing.

i tend to spam the request orders button to piss the SL off. i dont do it too fast so i dont get muted. i do that until either he gives an order or kicks me ^_^

well alot of the time you got these noobz that dont realise they are squad leader and they got not the slightest clue (im getting a clue) whats going on, then you got these poeple that just OMGCANT HANNDLE the rigors and trials of omg being a squad leader yes its soo hard to give orders, pop an accipiter and have people spawn on you, idk i guess it just goes with either being a control freak or being comfortable with the game whatever but yeah i think its great when im playing SL and i got a squad of at least 1 or 2 people that are actually following me around and liking the fact that im giving out orders and trying to accomplish them. GO HERE! GO THERE. right ohh. DEFENSE HERE!! no can do. Understood. Assault this position RIGHT OH!. thats pretty much it. people just want to run around and cap flags but i guess its fun and you get points for it soo..

I know what you mean.... in combat against that I always try and give some form of orders to squad mates if I'm leading, but not for the sake of their points or even my own success points... I'm more interested in keeping the squad together and giving them some form of objective to follow.

For the win baby.... for the win.

I'm a bad squad leader when my clan mates are on. We're all max rank, so points don't matter, and we're all on vent so we all know what's going on. THe few stray pubbers who make it into my squad are usually disappointed. I usually wind up kicking them anyway, because they'll spawn in the F2 of my vehicle and either shoot at nothing, or at EVERYTHING and give my position away.

              Two sides to the story.

I always join a squad but most times it's so I don't get switched and handed a loss in the final seconds. That has to be one of the most annoying aspects of the game.

Sometimes I get bumped up to SL without realizing it. Sometimes I just can't be arsed giving orders that everyone ignores anyway. Sometimes I am squad leader because your soldier sounds better. Sometimes I am a good SL when I'm in the mood and have some good squaddies with me.

indeed, a good squad stands or falls with the people that are in your squad.

My frustration begins with some idiot is spamming me with "orders sir??" when I just issued the order to attack or defend a point on the map. I'm like WTF? the order stands as it is... follow me and do your job... is it that hard to look at the minimap?? Gues so. :shakehead:

BTW, there is NO excuse for not give any orders when SL.

Yeah well, Always check who is the SL in wich squad your gonna join. I usually always join sqaud who have BG as SL. Also if this dosent work leave and creat a squad of your own, I love being able to call supply drops and UAV's where I want and when ever i want.

and there are some squad leaders who keep declining orders from commanders and rather play without any orders whatsoever. puzzles me as to why.

people like zarious, i don't get what's the problem having orders; it's not about getting points or ranking up, its about having a clear objective so that squads can be coordinated and commanders can assign squads to where they're needed. some people totally fail to see the big picture, i guess they don't care to win.

                        I do the same

As I said before, there is no excuse to not issueing orders when SL.

If you don't like orders than play lone wolf or something.

The same counts for a SL whoring in a walker so the rest of the squad is unable to respawn at his position... grrr..

Sorry Field I have to specify this, when the squad is full with 6 players, than the chances are very little that you can spawn at Squad Leader because people tend to stay in the walker.

Another frustration is a sloppy SL that deployes his beacon
                            a. under a overhang so there is no way you can use it
                            b. leaves his beacon way in the backfield where there is no action at all.
