ok as far as SMGs go i never really like the AK-74u much i mean it pwns and all that but only 2 smgs really exist for use and that is the mp5 and the p90. the p90 is like a mock assault rifle with a noobishly big clip but then the mp5 i think has a bit of a 1up on the
p90 for close range stopping power. yeah alot of the time close range your going to beat the p90 with an mp5 but then overall its kind of preference i suppose. THe ak-74 aint that bad but id use the mp5, m4 or m16 first

The 74u, or the 47 would be out those in almost all situations, except for the M16 at extended range.

Thats why I love them so much. =)

After spending a few hours yesterday on a wonderful Crash S&D server I've come to the conclusion that I love the MP5 :)

The 74u is great but I still like the feel of the MP5 better. 74u feels like an AR, almost :p

I like the MP5 too, BUT that kick to the side recoil has cost me my life many times. Its unpredictable and you can't compensate for it. In regular mode, you hit someone once and then kick to the side, you just gave away your position. At least with the 74u, you can account for the recoil.

Personally I am a big fan of the MP5. I used to use the 74u a lot - but to be honest I like the feel of the MP5. The 74u sounds like a toy :p

Ive begun to use the P90 alot, with silencer, UAV jammer and extreme conditioning, its lots of fun running around, and stabbing people in the back.

AK-74 or MP5 has gotten to be flavor of the week for me. I'm doing headshots, so I'm using the AKS now, but until they fix the RDS/Silencer bug, I think I'll be back at the MP5 until I can more adequately assess the two.


P90's are SMG training wheels. People who use them are nubcakes.

lol, im a nubcake then am I? I do acknowledge the fact that its real easy gun to use, and people do hate it. Everyone has their own opinion and thanks for you're input.

If someone kills you using a weapon - why must THEY change THEIR style of play? Adapt and adjust. P90 is useless at longer ranges, so keep them at arms length.

Sure, I can see your side of the argument... But really, P90 has worse accuracy/power than most guns, with the only real benefit being the ROF and clip size. So really, if you wanted to be a better killer, you'd use a gun that does more damage, meaning that the people who use P90's are normally those who lack the will to learn to aim!!!

Back when I played HC and pubs it wasn't that I couldn't deal with P90 users (and RPDers for that matter) it's just that they required so much less skill to use and yet the player had a better chance of killing you.... It's kinda like a stepstool (if you get my analogy)
