it is normal to lag a bit but not much. have you set fraps to record at 60 fps?

Ye i have it set to 60fps and half-size, i normaly have about 100 fps in game all the time, i dont like lag :)

put it to full size. keeps the calculation work down.

i dont know what program your using for editing but if its windows movie maker i wouldnt try to save more than 2 minutes of video at a time to the computer depending on how many different scenes there are it seems like you can save more if there are less different scenes. also, make the whole video first and then save the music to it after its more reliable

What are you using to record...Full or part version fraps? or maybe even xfire?

I'll be making a video or two this summer...I have Vegas Movie Studio 8.0

And I like the part of the short video where you zoom around....a good idea would to probably kill someone, zoom out and around, to you killing someone at another spot...just an idea

When recording with fraps it will drop significantly..what player-size servers are you playing on? Trying to record on well populated servers really dents my fps, and I have a pretty good PC.
