It's stupid though, getting banned because you have a cheat cvar that doesn't do anything to your game... If I went and /set godly_aimbot 1 - which wouldn't do anything, I'd get banned if I was on some AON server... >_>

Typing a cheat cvar into the console without it being in your config_mp will return an error. We get loads of people saying they typed it into their console just to see what would happen... and it just does not work like that... :|:

We only ban for KNOWN cheat cvar's - so you would have to be pretty stupid to stick a known cvar in your config tbh

As for AON, they do ban for scripts (which has divided the AC community somewhat) - but I guess there is an audience for that sort of thing. If you don't like scripts, then play on AON streaming servers. For anything else stick to PBBans or PsB streaming servers.
