We are starting to run out of decent subjects to talk about here in the CoD4 forum, so I'd like to jumpstart this section again with yet another silly (sorta) poll:

What is the lamest thing in CoD4? (yeah I know)

To me it has to be claymores in S&D. My biggest reason for ragequits in this game

Any version of cheats. That goes for all games and gamers. Cheaters ruin any and every game. Besides that.......I use everything IW put into the game. Regardless of the bitching that comes with it.

The thing that drives me most nuts is camping...especially on custom map servers, which are often run in HC, and are more likely to have (not-so-well-designed) major spawn areas that people constantly shoot into. Without the mini-map, it's often very hard to find the camper and eliminate them.

I've left servers after spawning/dying 3 or 4 times in a row, sometimes in totally different places on the map, because it's just ridiculously frustrating. To me, that's not sportsmanship at all.

I hate hackers and whiners...lol i sound like a whiner but i just quit a server..literally two mins ago and some dude called abcd007 joined...i was up on a balcony on crash and he shot the dude i was shooting in teh head then lock onto me which he coudlnt even see..even evyone else on teh server agreed he hacked...yet he wasnt top....but yeh..thats my most recent ragequit...

Actually I haven't seen any COD4 cheaters in punk buster servers, they are usually in the non punkbustered servers (to those who own a non PB server, WTF guys?).. And even in those, i usually get kicked while the blatantly obvious cheaters roam free.. So for me.. its the idiot admins who ban because they get killed too many times..


EDIT: Oh and dying from helicopters and airstrikes WHILE INSIDE BUILDINGS. Seriously, finish building the roofs on these houses.. Ridiculous!

LAG!!! it's the worst on CoD4, if i have 170 ping i don't stand a chance at close range combat and sniping a moving target is next to impossible unlike other games (TF2)..

People who call me a camper when i snipe.

Sad power of the .50 cal sniper rifle there has been a few times its taken more than one shot even with stopping power on and up to 4-5 shots through a wall.

Hit detection seems to be a problem with me aswell i don't know if its lag or what but there have been a few times where i have shot someone in the tip top of there head and it has registered as a hit but not killed them and these particular times i know it was the head because thats all that was visible.

People who use marty and nube tube.. and this annoys me further when its on a hc server >_<

The maps are a bit small imo, would be nice to have a decent size map to accommodate more than just run and gun.. So sniping and a more tactical approach was possible.

***holes... too many of them voice there rude and childish comments, though this will happen with any game i guess..

Not being able to edit ur class during a game..

All these rants are my opinion and i don't care if u disagree, I still think CoD4 is the best game i have ever played to date.

P.S. Ooohh also on HC servers they should change the kill count needed for an airstrike to 7 not 5.. and 9 for heli..

What really drives me nutz is people whining about camping and other crap in game. We get enough of that in the forums...grant it, I do not like it that much myself but thats the game we play.I see both sides of the story....but in-game is not the place.

So yeah, in-game complaints is Lame.

THE worste thing in this game is airstrike and chopper the maps are just not made for that kind of power!!! Ok if the killstrike was 8 for airstrike and 10 for chopper it would be like damn this guy just killed 10 ppl in the row and everybody would respect him

It would be way cool if we could actually control the chopper when we call it and use some skill variables to get kills from it. :thumbsup:

You know like a new screen would popup just when the chopper comes in.

The LMG is fine with me, but people who use it on like Overgrown with deep impact and stopping power and spray the whole time the map is going at the spawning area and I instant die about 5 times in a row...yeah.
