Spawn camping is for noobs that can't kill the person trying to get up.

I don't baserape. Ask any of my pilots or anybody I regularly pub with. I always let the opposing team's jets/choppers get out of their base, off the pad, or off of the carrier, and usually let them take the first shot to let me know that they're ready to start fighting. The only exception to this is if I'm already 40-0 and I know that the person in the chopper has absolutely no chance of killing me just because they're terrible, then I'll hit the pad at main entrance or reactor towers. I still don't baserape.

I tell my pilots to back off of the mountains by the Chinese base because it's just gay man. Anybody can sit around the corner and wait for a chopper to come out and shoot/slip back around the mountain. It takes skill to shoot somebody down who knows the missile is coming.

Maybe you'll appreciate a good dogfight when you actually get good.

plus I play on R|A allot where killing choppers on pad is against the rules and itll get you kicked, that might be a gay rule to you but it actually keeps the game balanced, at least up in the air

the server is actually cool now, you know how admins used to be the problem?

plus all the scrubs, well now its only the scrubs lol, I think admins are doing a good job

That's just your opinion and how you play. I, personally, find it boring waiting for the enemy to engage me first. If something isn't against the rules made by the admins on the server, then it's allowed. If a server says "Spawn campers will be kicked/banned", then it's wrong to spawn camp because you're breaking the rules. If it's not against the rules, then go ahead and do it because no one with authority will tell you to stop.

If I'm in the jet and my team has all the flags then I will start to bomb, strafe, and prevent the other jets from taking off (but only if doing this is not against the rules). I don't care if you, or others, think it's unethical, unfair, or cheap. I don't play the game to satisfy others, I play to satisfy myself. I'm not in a clan, I don't play competitively and I certainly don't take BF2 seriously, so why should I play as if I'm trying to impress somebody?

I can play how ever I want to aslong as it's within the server's rules and telling me what I'm doing is unfair or cheap is just a waste of your time, because, honestly, I really couldn't care less what you think about the way I play. I'd say the majority of players don't care if you think how they play is cheap. By the way, everyone has their own definition of "cheap".

Why do ppl find it fun to kill the same guy at the instant he spawns over and over again, or shooting a completely defensless chopter on the helipad over and over again? Where is the competition? And since there isnt really any, why dont you just do it vs bots in SP?

The reason people do asinine things online instead of in Single Player is simple: They want to cause grief for other players. They enjoy pissing people off, and bots don't get pissed off.
Think about it; spawncamping, pad raping, jet/helo/tank whoring, teamkilling, aimbotting and wall-glitching are all possible in SP. These people are social 4-year-olds who get off on ruining everyone else's game. My 3-year-old pushes her little sister down. We ask her "why?", she says "because I can." Some people never grow out of that. We call those people sociopaths.

That's problem with you, and others, is that you take the game too seriously.

Why don't spawn campers piss ME off? Why don't jet/helo/tank whores piss ME off? Why don't teamkillers piss ME off? Because they're easily dealt with, and not a problem for me, that's why. And by "easily dealt with" I don't mean being an admin and kicking them. I only play on pub servers and I'm not an admin on any of them. I can even list the servers I play on and you can check yourself. I also don't play the game like it's my job, or as if I have to impress somebody.

Aimbotting and wall glitching isn't much of a problem for me, either, because I haven't seen one for months. I see a hacker almost every day on this 24/7 dragon valley 64 slot server that I usually play on. But, he doesn't bother me because all he does is use the commander hack. What he's doing is against the rules and should be kicked, but it doesn't hurt my feelings so I'm not going to get all anal about it and tell him how insecure, or how unenthical he's being.

Judging people by the way they play in an online game is pretty funny, btw.

idk, for me BF2 is not just a game - it's a competition.
For me it's kind of a sport, so I consider fairness as very important.
Things like spawnkilling is like scoring a goal when the opposing team is not even ready on the field.

But I guess that there will always be players that disrespect the (unwritten) rules of a sport/game.
Admins play the role of the referee and there will always be right and wrong decisions made by them.

So, if you want a fair competition and see who's team is better, play fair...:thumbsup:

If you don't want to, go to a no rules server and get those spawnkilling kills :laugh:

Exactly. So basically: "mind your own business and stop worrying about what other people (who are on servers that you don't even play on) do to get kills" Play how YOU want to play, aslong as it's within the servers rules and within your own personal beliefs. My own personal belief depends how I want to play. Sometimes I just want to get kills no matter what. Other times my goal will be to take flags any way possible. But regardless of which I choose to do, I will always remember to force my little brother to follow me around as a medic so he can revive me every time. If he dies? Oh well, lil guy, you can just respawn on me :)

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but complaining about something that doesn't even affect you is just you trying to start trouble.
