Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
And being sniper in a team is just matter of playing it smart... Meaning, using the equipment to help your squad out. Covering them from highground, spotting the targets, engagin(that the right word?) the enemy from distance and so on...
i find it a little hard to snipe on consoles. but ill probly get used to it and be a sniper alot of the time. but i have to try out all of the kits before i decide

I'm not a big fan of the support weapons apart from the shotgun which isn't too bad.
While I understand what your saying about a sniper covering and such. I would take a medic / assualt / support / engineer over a sniper in my squad any day. Mainly because with the maps being smaller the battles will be more intense so close support will be more useful. Going from previous battlefield games I haven't played in a good squad that has a sniper in it. Its always been assualt / medics / support / engineers. Maybe it'll be different in Bad Company but I hear that there's only 4 people to a squad (I might be wrong) so close support will play an even more important role than before.
Can't say without playing it first but I'm liking the look of sniper, but saying that my favored class has changed with every bf game i play. In bf2 i was mainly anti tank/assault. Yet in 2142 i played support almost exclusively.. but i seem to find i play at a slower pace in console games than i do on the pc (mainly due to the controls making my usual kamikaze run and gun style redundant) so yeah sniper to start with i think :)
I'll probably be whatever I'm in the mood to be... Haha, that's usually how it works! (for me at least...)
I love sniping so I'll do that most of the time, but since blowing stuff up is the new thing in Battlefield: Bad Company, I'll probably start off with the Assualt Kit...
I will play mostly specialist, I just love those fast firing weapons. I also like the c4, and the tracer gun is neat. I will of course try out the other classes as well.
Support sounds awesome with the orbital strike (can you destroy it?)
And recon has the laser guided bomb.
I think it's best to play it by ear. Take Oasis for example, at the beginning, with the attackers, it'll benefit the team the most if you have mainly Support/Recon so you can repair tanks, whilst also being able to take down defenders from a distance.
Defenders, on the other hand, will want Demolitions for sure, to take out that bridge, and the onslaught of tanks. Snipers too, perhaps, to counter the enemy snipers and perhaps one Specialist, tag a couple of tanks, and they're taken down much smoother.
Later on, however, it might benefit the attacks to have more specialists and demolitions, given the close-quartered nature of the town itself. So, at this point, both Attackers and Defenders would have roughly similar kits.
If there's 3 tanks raping our base, i'll spawn as demolitions. If there's a pesky sniper, i'll go as recon... etc, etc.

So basically you adjust to the situation with the kits... Same as i do...
For example the round what we just played... At first i played as Recon... And after we lost plantation, i started to play with support, assault and demolitions...
We had awesome round btw, although we did lose it... I got 500+ points from it..
Did you use mic on any point? Since i couldn't hear anyone talking...

I didn't, and I only heard other people talking at the end of the round... before the game restarted... Wasn't a particularly good round for me :P
I think the specialist is a bit overpowered in close quarters. There gun just runs everyone. I think assualt is less useful in this game then the past battlefields as it gets destroyed at close and medium range. Also sometimes the guns feel very weak when playing assault but never when playing the other classes.
