I don't think there'll be a new console for at least a year and a half... (2 years)... Its not too late to jump on the PS3 wagon, it's probably the best time (well wait for the next price drop, should be in a few months) then you can buy GTA4/MGS4/any other upcoming awesome games.

Thanks for the reply Dan,I should have a few bills paid off in a couple months so that will work out well then.

I am unsure of the cost of ps3s in every ones area but here they are still sporting the $400 tag every where I have looked.

I wish i had the extra$$$$ for a ps3 I work six days out of the week and still cant find the coin.

For real,I do want to buy one or do you guys think its a bit late(close to) the next gen consoles being released to jump on the ps3 wagon?

It's a sick game. But it's not like your need for speed games. This game is a simulation of driving and takes a lot of patience to get good at.

Are you into Ultra-realistic Racing simulators? I love it... there is supposedly a patch in the fall coming out for damage and other little things. The online is OK, no room really, but visit the Sony forums and go to there GT section. You might want to wait till the whole thing comes out however. Since this is just the Prologue.

What game should I get next? I just got my cheque for $64.00 for some work I did a couple of weeks ago.

Im looking at:

Civilization Revolutions (July 7th Release)
Grand Theft Auto IV
The Simpsons Game
The Orange Box

Speaking of home, I seen something about it on G4 last year when they covered E3.

So is Home like the sims? but online?

Well, kind of. Except it's going to be more like just a room (That will be customizable) with all your trophies that your friends can come in with there virtual person. You can chat, show off your di- trophies,etc.

Retract that statement, I can't play MUSIC? I thought in game XMB meant music? Lame.... They need "patches". What the feck? I thought this all would be OS dependent NOT game dependent.... And I really want voice chat....sigh....

Also brings out the anger about "Home"....

I had planned on just renting it, but i looked and Blockbuster has a 6 day rental for PS3 games for 8 bucks. The only copy they had was rented and they had a used copy for sale so I just paid a little more to own it.

Good thing about the ps3 unlike the pc i can rent, sell, trade games. :)

Lot of places here in Finland doesn't really want to take PC games back. It's mostly because of the CD-keys...

But with PS3, they have no problem with it when i take my old games back to rotation...

Speaking of PC's... I know this ain't the thread for this, but i need to just let this one out...

My PC's 19" widescreen monitor retired last night. I have no idea wtf happened to it. It just died, and wouldn't turn on again. So now i need to wait God only knows how long to get a replacement... :wall:
